Spells In Harry Potter Novels & Stories

Jess wished she were standing closer to Caine but reluctantly took Kiaan and Damien's clammy hands when they reached out to her. "Say these words three times," Damien ordered. “Shadows lurking in the night, I summon you, come to us tonight. Give us the revenge we seek, Twist the strong and make them weak. I call on you to make this spell magick, so mote it be." After the third iteration, Jess looked about the room and noticed the others doing the same. Brows raised, Kiaan asked, "Is something supposed to happen?" "Not now," Damien assured him. "But it will. Trust me."

Willow stated to Cordelia. Allegra breathes and tears swell from her eyes. She couldn’t explain how hurt it was to hide secret to Thana. She could never imagine how could Thana accepts all the lies that she kept to her daughter. “Please bring the spell to Thana. It’s her protection from Lazarus and to protect her from the evil deeds.” A fiery red liquid, glittering and glowing like a fire, is a magic spell that she made. Allegra knows if Thana turns to Sixteen Lazarus will come after her.

His back had hit the huge gate surrounding Hertford Manor. "What the actual fuck?" Alexander let out. He tried to do the same thing again a few times, and the result was the same. When he walked slowly towards the house, he stretched out a hand to see the house was fully protected by a spell. It was a strong spell that prevented every creature but human beings from entering the house. "That Shier Hertford is not what he pretends to be," Alexander told himself, just to be clear. I cannot help Becca with whatever she needs right now, but she has to help me come what may, thinking that he shook his head. Deciding it was better for him to hunt and drink human blood, Alexander ran out of the mano

"Elias Fay, Earl Fay's Daughter." The brief introduction came to an end as a barrage of spells commenced. 'May the God of Ice rain the frost to her foes!' 'Snowstorm!' Snowstorm, a powerful ice elemental spell, was her spell. Its power was comparable to that of a Rare tier skill. The benefit of having a system is that I can already identify every single spell as long as I see the magic circle. The torrent of ice shards rained down on me, leaving a trail of chilly air in its wake.

Each potion can be unmade with different ingredients. As she runs us through the most common spells that are used by witches, we are expected to commit them to memory. She teaches us what the spell is, how it is cast, what it does, and finally how to stop it. We are not given any paper to take our own notes on so we try our hardest to remember everything that she tells us.

'Attack. Save those who were guarding Selene, members from my pack were the first to bolt out of formation, they leaped swiftly into their wolf forms and jumped at the robed men. While a few were held back with a magical spell that suspended them in the air until thrown to the side. The rest got through the barrage of magical spells cast their way and took out about half of the sorcerers. Spells of fire erupted from the remaining magic casters, which knocked a dozen wolves aside, sending them rolling to the ground. Magnus and Ares commanded their own ranks to attack the sorcerers. Some wolves were taken out by powerful streams of fire released by the robed men.

MIA'S POV As I delicately turned the worn pages of the Book of Enchantments, my eyes widened in disbelief. Each incantation revealed a darker secret, a more malevolent power than the last. The ancient script described spells that could rend the very fabric of reality, summon creatures from the shadows, and manipulate minds with a mere whisper. My heart quickened as I stumbled upon a page filled with vicious curses, each word practically dripping with malice. The realization struck me like a physical blow – this book, revered for its enchantments, was a weapon of unimaginable destruction.

Like Professor Santina, she wrote her name, class, and textbooks on the whiteboard and I wrote them down, making a note to go to the school store to get these books. She explained some of the basic spellings that we should already know how to do. Such as levitating, and freezeframe. Two spells I was working on with Xaden and pleased that I was. There were a couple of other spells I hadn’t even heard of such as a classic white light protection spell and a purification spell. Apparently, those who grew up with magic, learn how to do these spells as children. I felt stupid only knowing how to do one of those spells and I hoped Xaden would teach me the rest.

I closed my eyes and began to concentrate, gathering magic around me in a shimmering aura. Softly, I chanted the first spell, a complex incantation to induce a deep sleep in Alpha's wolf, ensuring he wouldn't wake during the memory erasure. My voice grew stronger with each verse, the air crackling with power. As I reached the second spell, rain began to lash against the windows, conjured by my magic into a stormy tempest outside.

I shrug. “Sure, but a person can know how to bake and how to cook, that doesn’t mean they love both. Most of them have a preference. I’m okay at spellwork, but it’s very rigid. You have to follow strict rules and even the slightest variation can have catastrophic effects. It is not something you can stop part way or change your mind about. You need to be completely confident in the spell and commit to it completely. Potions are a little more relaxed. You can mix and match and see how it turns up. Sure it can still go wrong, but it’s usually more intentional and easier to control. The physical ingredients are easy to measure, controlling thoughts and staying focussed for a spell is harder.” I
