Spells In Harry Potter Novels & Stories

“As you dealt with her father, so must you deal with her. She will heed. She will bend. It is not so difficult, is it?” The words froze me in place. Father. My father. They were speaking of me. “There is… a problem, Mistress,” Tremaine admitted. “What problem?” “I cannot bewitch her.” The silence that followed was worse than the words. Then the voice snarled, sharp enough to rattle the glass. “Impossible. Only one thing could render our spells useless. Are you telling me she has the stone?” The stone. My stone. My hand flew to the hidden necklace in the drawer below, as if the voice might reach through walls and seize it.

I just don’t know why my parents forbid me from using it but it appears to me that it will just cause me danger so I have no reasons in using so. “Happy Birthday Crystal!” A familiar voice coming from behind me really surprised me. The voice came from Kirk Robinson, my friend at Pyronia Island where we once lived. “Thanks for coming! Who are you with? I thought you’ll not be able to come but you did! You really are amazing.” Kirk gave me a slight hug before handing me his present. He is a Spirit wizard that’s why he knows how to create potions, he can also heal wounds.

I ask. Chuckling Miranda replies, “That’s what a protection spell is silly. It will protect Lily against dark magic. Every witch has their own signature spells that we develop, almost like a trademark. So, for someone to break that spell, it would take some time and the short time we will be walking around will give me a chance to pick up any oddities in the air. I wouldn’t trust it my entire visit, but I would trust it for the next hour that Lily shows me around,” she concludes.

The stranger clenched his teeth when he looked Cain in the eyes. “Sorry, Knox, I forgot to keep quiet.” Knox huffed at the remark and stomped back into the office, his face reddening. “What have you made me do now, Cain? No one here needed to die tonight.” “I tried to use that spell earlier.” Cain said. “Your outburst killed my spell. You know how precious spells are.” He looked back at his handiwork. “Now, more of them will come after us.” “Well, that’s a given. They would come after us anyway after you rescued me from the noose.”

The girl opened the parchment. She at Mr. Knudlac a little surprised. "It's the same text," she told him so resignedly. "It means that I too will have Domandi Aqua..." Professor Knudlac smiled again. "Dear Elizabeth, until you read the same text of your parchment, I want to tell you something more. You've probably noticed that apart from the spells we can learn in school, such as Procidat Deceptionem, Inpulsa or Evanescet, magic that anyone who studies hard our teachings can grasp, maybe even a sceptic, there are other magic tricks too ... a little more special."

Lose the clarity of your gaze, from this moment you will see no more! Jeanne yelps, the spell has worked, she has gone blind. She spreads her trembling hands in front of her and growls. —Very good trick. I must admit, it is... uncomfortable not being able to see where I'm going. - She advances in my direction and I run away without turning my back on her.

That led to the diversity of witches. Reading further through it, I discovered some simple spells to try. Qorie Deter - Moving objects with your mind. Note: it requires a high level of concentration and enough mana reserve. Luper Prist - A simple water spell. Requires not much concentration and is one of the basic spells to learn. Kazum Aesta - Hypnosis. Note: It requires an extreme level of concentration, practice and a high mana reserve. Duperia Santum - Duplication/Copying spell. A fairly simple spell. Requires some level of concentration and mana.

A loud shrieking sound came from the beast. If he wasn't angry before, he sure was now! Think Hazel, THINK! But what the fuck could I do? I was just a girl, a stupid girl waving a stick at a nightmarish beast. What could a stick do? Suddenly an idea popped into my mind. I lifted the stick higher and made sure it was directly pointed at the beast. "EXPELLIARMUS!" I shouted. But nothing happened. FUCK! This spell always worked for Harry Potter - most of the times.

Suddenly, a tiny burst of colorful sparks erupted from the tip of her wand, and a small scroll materialized in her hand. "This, my friend, is the 'Rhyme-Rite' spell," she explained, unrolling the scroll. "It's foolproof, guaranteed to make anyone rhyme for a day!" I marveled at the intricate symbols and enchanting words inscribed on the scroll. "This is incredible, Sophie! So, how do we use it?" With a mischievous grin, Sophie whispered the instructions. "We just need to recite this incantation and point our wands at the person we want to rhyme. But remember, we must use our powers wisely, and only for the sake of mischief and good fun!"

When he handed it to Lucinda, a list of about thirty spells was shown at her probing. 'So few of them.' A big part of the list was composed of the rank 0 spells that he had already inspected the first time that he went there. The others were mostly rank 1 or rank 2 spells and their prices were exorbitant. Lucinda carefully evaluated each one of them before sighing inwardly. 'To think that I believed to be rich just a few minutes ago.' "Professor, I want the rank 0 spell Blind, the rank 2 spell Blood drain, and the spell Warp."
