I tell him, holding his gaze. I refuse to be intimidated any longer. If this vampire wants to go against me, I know a really good sun spell that will knock his ass back a few paces. “That explains how you came to work for Beta Trevor, but not Beta Gwen,” Alpha Wyatt says. “Beta Gwen learned from her father. Her threats were just as valid as his.” I say. “Can’t you just undo your little spell?” Phiren, the elf, asks, just as condescendingly as Alpha Wyatt.

Even as I shook my head, fighting to erase the words now etched into my consciousness, I couldn’t ignore the truth. My first clue was with the spider queen: Aranea, Goddess of Arachnids. Draco snarled loudly enough to send those nearest to us skittering back. He ran his fingers through his frosted hair and exhaled through his teeth.

Meanwhile, these demonic spiders with human faces were actually split components of Shura Spiderwoman. They couldn’t get too far away. Soon, without any targets left, they regrouped. Shuffle! A brand new Shura Spiderwoman appeared in front of everyone. Sporting a female body, she had eight huge legs. However, her face appeared to be completely different from the goddess before. It was very lengthy, and there were strange patterns on her forehead. Her eyes were thin and long, but they had vertical, yellowish-green pupils. “D*mn! D*mn! What is this?” Clara’s father exclaimed. He was nearly scared out of his wits.

The green Hobgoblin said, watching as Xolvion took a step back. "Whatever, let's finish them off!" The yellow Hobgoblin said, quickly charging towards Gwen as he made her his target. Gwen and Owen didn't stand a chance against these monsters, that Xolvion knew. However, Crystal was more than a match, he only hoped that she would be able to tap into her power and prove it. "ARGHH!" Gwen screamed as the yellow Hobgoblin charged towards her, lifting his sword as it got ready to strike her down.

She growled in her distorted voice. "Well that is because I aksed you to and its basic etiquette." Gwen looked at her innocently. "Who are you?" She spoke coldly as she scanned Gwen's face intensely. "I'm Gwen, an omega wolf." She chirped with a bright smile in her face. "Well, my question. Why are you here? What is your king playing that he had to send his front line soldier here. But that's not all because I really need to commend your skills! You fit in perfectly and hid the Oracle well." Gwen rambled, and her emotions changed along with her questions.

“Hah!” I shift and glance at Aderyn uneasily. This might take a while. Aderyn croaks loudly then spreads its wings and flaps hard to gain the witch’s attention. “Day is almost upon us, so let me speak briefly. Gwen’s blood is, as you have noticed, wolf and witch. She has come to prove herself a witch and me her familiar. Do you accept?” The haggard women all stop talking long enough to listen before they all whisper to themselves. Even with my werewolf hearing, I can’t tell what they are saying.

He then looked at me and acted as if he was surprised. "Oh! You're still with her?" He asked Avyaan. "What do you mean?" I retorted. "I didn't think you would be here. I thought Avyaan would be bringing his new wife," Spider spoke in a teasing tone. "New wife?" I was surprised. "Yeah! The woman he bought in the Australia Auction, for sixty million dollars," he announced as he winked at me.

she added. Gwen chuckled as she sat on the bed. "I've been wanting to talk to you about what you said the other day," she said. "About the dreams?" Maya asked. "Yes," Gwen replied, nodding. "How do you know that I do have dreams?" She asked. Maya shrugged. "Everyone dreams, right?" She asked as she sipped the lemon tea. Gwen nodded. "Yes, but, I do have extraordinary dreams, Luna. I dream of people that I cannot remember their faces once I wake up. I only recall their names," she replied.
