the professor asked. “I have some questions for you,” Tyr said. The professor hurriedly nodded. “Big Brother, ask away. I will tell you everything I know.” Having said that, the professor took out a sketch from his pocket and shoved it into Tyr’s hand. He continued, “Big Brother, this is the sketch I drew yesterday. It contains all of Kirin’s research of the Red Spider over the years and the distribution of the industrial chain. With this diagram, you can find out the distribution of the Red Spider in the entire north within minutes.”

“I even had to send you a text message.” “So, it was you,” Shadow uttered in a deadly serious tone as she was not in the mood to entertain the other. “Of course, it was me,” Spider answered proudly, running her fingers over her Dutch braid. ‘What do you want?” Shadow asked, signaling her aides to step back. “Hm?” Spider tilted her head. “What do I want, you ask?” With a quick jump, she landed on the ground. Dusting the invisible dust off her arm, she looked at Shadow. “I wanna spar with you. And maybe, make you mine?”

Allen yelled back annoyed as he wriggled against the threads. “Oh, come now partner. I came to rescue you, didn’t I?” she replied. Smirking at his predicament briefly, Chiri then threw the knife in her hand. Slicing the threads on Allen’s arm. He wasted no time to fire another shot at the monster. This time hitting her directly, the spider-woman screeched as the symbols of a hex began to appear across her body. Carving themselves into her skin and extremities, the creature curled into herself.

"You… What are you doing?" "What am I doing?" Kendall smirked. "Aren’t you bold and brave? I’ll give you a taste of the Dark Sky Spider. This is a special venomous creature reared by the Five Poison Sect. Once bitten by it, your entire body will turn numb and your skin will start to rot. By then you wouldn’t know whether you’re still alive or dead. Why don’t you try it?"

"Would you like to see the meadows, forest or mountains next?" "Meadows!" Kira clapped. "Forest!" Ver and Erys voted. "I'm just enjoying the tour," Sal shrugged. "Wherever you go." "Well, two votes forest takes us into the trees. Let's go." I turned around and walked into the canopy of trees. "The animals here can be a bit territorial, but the most you'll get is scratched. Now do be careful. The black hawk spider and slinging webbed snake do inhabit the forest. The black hawk spider makes a web outlined with gold colored web, so watch for that. Be careful of holes symmetrically surrounded by rocks, as that's where the slinging webbed snake lives. Other than that, most of the creatures living

“I must confess, Mr. Roche. I might’ve left you if the Blood Eagles catch you. Or worse.” “I understand.” Zeki couldn’t afford to get recalled, knowing that he would return to Earth as an Ottoman slave. “Wait a minute, you were with me during that time I was underwater, were you?” He nodded. “I learned from a newcomer years ago that some spiders use bubbles in order to breathe underwater.” “You can do that?” I imagined him wearing a bubble helmet in his spider form as he clung to my hair while diving. It seemed amusing when I thought about it.

He was the only person here that wasn’t collared like an animal, which he took great pride in bragging about. Kieran also lived here with his mate, Spider. Despite the Band wrapped around her wrist, she looked much too fragile to be a Soul Stealer. Her voice was soft and kind; making me feel safe instantly. She had long black hair that had been weaved intricately to wind around the back of her head. Her skin was soft and pale, and her frame was slender. Spider had small, pointed elf ears and mesmerising purple eyes that made all my worries melt away. She wore a flowing blue and green marbled dress, which split into individual sashes at her middle. The dress came to her ankles, so I could see

“Those spiders, they can crawl up trees.” The image alone made my skin crawl. Chest-high bodies, bloated abdomens, long hairy legs. “Isn’t there somewhere safer? A cave or something?” Kael shot me a brief, cold, annoyed look. “Safer? We’re in a cedar grove.” “Cedar trees?” “Spiders hate the smell. High resin content. I’m sure they won’t come near this area.” I hadn’t known that. There were no trees in my district—only moss and hydroponic plants, rare and expensive. I didn’t say any of that to Kael.

---------- ------------------ The next night . . . ---------- ------------------ "Please, come in!" Kira said anxiously, rubbing her hands on her apron as Shamira, Clara, and Sebastian stood outside the the door. She gawked a little when she saw the werespider . . . Sebastian had that effect on women. "We weren't expecting you for another hour, so I haven't had a chance to clean up yet. Who . . . who's your friend?" Shamira smiled. "This is Sebastian. I'm working with him on that investigation I told you about, so I thought you should meet since you may need to interact with him directly. Sebastian, this is Kira Blanks."
