BludHeaven Academy

BludHeaven Academy

Nico stopped at the first real drop—a twenty-foot sheer face, then a narrow traverse along a crumbling ledge, then another drop. He knew climbing. High school rock club. Solid upper body strength. Calluses still thick on his palms from years of gripping holds, pulling himself up walls when the world felt too heavy to carry. Climbing had been second nature once—focus, breath, grip, move. No fear. Just the next hold.

Divorced and mated to the Lycan Twins

Divorced and mated to the Lycan Twins

I mumbled, struggling with the door. A small click, and the door pushed open. My heart pushed up to my mouth. I was on the only-god-knows how many floors above ground level. My eyes hovered around the place. There were relief sculptures etched against the walls. “Nora this is it.” I might be wolfless, but spending time alone racing through the woods had taught me a bit of climbing. I held my breath, and pushed my head forward. Sweat broke out on my body, as I pushed one foot out.

WANTED

WANTED

Looking around for anything that could save me I looked left, right, front, back and all around me then I finally looked up and the answer to my prayer was just staring down at me...the ceiling...why didn't I think of this earlier and here I was already smelling death. This time it won't be that hard because they already had things stuffed tall enough for me to climb. All I needed to do was climb carefully and quietly….After successfully climbing, I take back my previous statement...it was hard..coupled with the fact that i was in a cold room. I opened the ceiling and slipped into it then fixed it back...slowly I crawled again on all fours

Her Worst Nightmare

Her Worst Nightmare

So, if you want to get out of here before it makes a star-studded appearance, I suggest you get climbing. I turned back to the shelves and grabbed the one at head-height, placing my foot on the first and heaving myself up. My legs were shaking with each step and it wasn't long before the muscles in my arms began to scream with the effort. I glanced back to see Ethan climbing slightly behind me and behind him a long drop down to the walkway. Inhaling dust and panic, I kept on going, doing my best to keep my eyes fixed on the next step up. We'd come so far now that the mist had thickened all around us, and each shelf was peppered with the tiniest of moisture droplets that were making it harder

Love's Inferno: When Fire Meets Ice

Love's Inferno: When Fire Meets Ice

Though there weren't many children at the playground, Nora bit her bottom lip, scanning the area anxiously, praying this moment remained as peaceful and fun as it was without getting ruined by anyone. "Come on, Nora! Let's play together," Max called out to her, pulling her out of her thoughts. She grinned. "Alright!" Nora spotted a set of monkey bars nearby, and she decided to give them a try. She climbed up the ladder and grabbed onto the first bar, hoisting herself up with ease. She moved from bar to bar, feeling a sense of accomplishment with each one she crossed. She was almost at the end when she heard a shout from below.

The writing was good. Interesting twists in the story. However, I got irritated when Doris was being immature. Love how 8 years old Nora and 4 years old Max acted and spoke mature. Hated that the transition between events was not always smooth and the wrong gender was used often. Nice, happy ending.

His Ex Mistress, His Enemy

His Ex Mistress, His Enemy

I needed my hands free for the fence, for the tree trunk that would help me climb. Behind me, the Romano house stood warm and massive, full of people who would lose their minds if they knew I slipped out alone through the service door in the middle of the night. Ahead, darkness stretched with a car I’d never seen waiting somewhere in it. I drew one long breath. Cold air cut into my lungs. Then I started climbing.

Hello guys, my connection’s finally back to normal! I’m so sorry once again—the storm really messed things up and the recent chapters weren’t as good as I wanted them to be. I’ve already re-edited the previous chapters that had errors, but my editor hasn’t confirmed the updates yet. Please bear with

Light & Darkness: Book 3

Light & Darkness: Book 3

I quickly gripped the lowest branch tightly, trying to climb as fast and as possible and carefully at the same time, so that I wouldn't fall down, which might have happened, because I was scared and shivering all over, not only from the cold. It seemed like an eternity, but luckily I made it over to the branch leading to my window and then onto the windowsill. In that moment, right next to the wall, I heard the rustle of leaves, as if someone had flown very quickly to the right part of the forest, and it surprised me so much that my left leg slipped down the windowsill. Luckily, I grabbed hold of the wooden part of the window and managed to pull myself up, then slipped into my room as nimbly

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

She chose a large trunk, that hadn’t suffered too badly, to begin her staircase, and placed a side table on top. Then she put a couple of chairs on top of that. With those pieces stacked, she figured she could climb through the hole and hoist herself up and out. She took a deep breath, said a little prayer, and started her ascent. When she reached to put her hands through the hole, she was met with the unexpected: an invisible wall. She patted her palms against this wall to find that it completely covered the opening.

The Billionaire’s Secret Wife

The Billionaire’s Secret Wife

Learning. Reaching. Ethan moved. Fast. Precise. His hand found Mara’s arm in the dark and pulled her slightly behind him. “Up,” he said. No hesitation. No debate. “We climb. Now.” Noah didn’t argue. For once. “Yeah—yeah, climbing sounds great, I love climbing when something unknown is chasing us in total darkness—” “Move,” Ethan cut him off. The ladder groaned as Noah started first. Metal against metal. Sharp.

Gunmetal Mama

Gunmetal Mama

It moved like a man with no spine. The human body only has two legs and what she saw climbing the cage’s walls had eight. Amber couldn’t move. She watched as the Boneseeker Man climbed the cage’s walls, making his way toward her. The clicking had a guttural slimy sound, like an ape choking on its vomit. It was a dreadful noise, and with every passing second, the terrible slobbering clicking grew closer to Amber. She closed her eyes and prayed while feeling her urine running down between her legs. The sight of the predator caused Amber to urinate on herself.
