The snarl that ripped out of her didn’t sound like a Luna. It sounded like a rogue. She came at me so fast the crowd didn’t even have a chance to scatter, and slammed into me, and the world tilted. Sky, smoke, screaming. My back hit the ground as Stephanie’s claws slashed at my face, her eyes full of hate and rage.

He's calling over to the next table in a taunt. Stephanie looks over to our table and directly at me. I can see the hatred in her eyes. I give her a cocky smile and a wink, that seemed to push a button. "I didn't need to sit in your busted ass truck, Scott said I could sit in his car anytime." She lays her head on Scott's shoulder and emphasizes his name. He was eating it up and smiled. Stephaine wasn't a bad-looking girl. Tall, thin, decent-sized butt and about a full B cup. She had shoulder-length dark brown hair, cut into a shaggy bob. Dark green eyes. It was the shitty attitude that made her ugly.

The door flew open. Stephanie came in like she had been walking fast for the last three corridors, her braids loose around her shoulders, still in the deep orange wrap she had worn to the meeting, her expression sitting somewhere between furious and baffled. She pointed at the door she had just come through. "Girl….Who the fuck is that?" I looked at her. "Because from where I was standing, she was standing there talking to you with her chest all out like she was making a claim and trying to write you off your own ground." She crossed her arms. "I did not hear everything. SoTalk."

Stephanie's features came into focus, and the displeasure written across her face was impossible to miss. “Sorry I interrupted you two,” she said, although her tone suggested she wasn't sorry at all. Her gaze shifted toward Mireya, slowly sweeping over her from head to toe with an intensity I immediately disliked. Stephanie was a powerful female Alpha, one who had spent most of her life believing she could have anything she wanted simply because very few people had the strength to deny her. She had only just met my future Luna, yet the displeasure in her eyes was already obvious.

King Alec watched the witch surprised at her confession, then chuckled darkly, tossing the picture back on the coffee table, "Poor girl,” he said, turning to face Stephania.
