Fate In Time Novels & Stories

You’d think more people would be hesitant to find their fated mates, considering what happened to the previous generation, but I guess the possibility of eternal love and happiness clouds peoples’ rationality. The last two months, Vinny’s pack, The Forza Nelle Tenebre, aka Forza Pack, and Dare’s pack, The Running River Pack, have taken turns hosting full moon runs. A bunch of my pack members have traveled to these events and about fifty of them found their fated mates within the other packs. Small fuckin’ world, right?

She awakened something far stronger, and even rarer- the gift of Fate. The gift of Fate is a rare gift, one that is hardly ever found in the kingdom of magic. Even ancient witches and wizards were not as scarce as the gift of Fate. Fate encapsulated time, space and people. It affected all entities, be it living or non-living, sentient or not. Fate is absolute. Ultimate. Final.

All three of them looked alike, with their faces mirroring each other. All three women looked eerie and ancient, I felt a cold chill crawl down my spine as I stared at how drained and pale their faces were. Who were they? My blood instantly runs cold as if frozen. I finally realized who they were--The Fates. A heavy lightning struck on cue out of nowhere. The Fates were the deities who held time and Destiny in their hands. They were three but existed in one. They are what was, what is and what will be. Holding the knowledge of the entire universe in their hands, what had occurred and whatever yet to occur.

I could tell that she was unsure how he would react, knowing that she’d been forced to keep shit from him. It surprised her when he kissed her temple and promised her that he wasn’t upset. Her shoulders relaxed as if he’d helped take off some of the weight that she was carrying around. “Fate is a complicated thing and something that affects everyone in different ways. Imagine a complicated game of Chess. Moves that appear to be inconsequential can actually cause a ripple effect that leads to winning or losing the game. Choices, decisions, and actions from us and others have led us to this point in time. Fate is known for its long game. As such, the game began generations ago. I knew that our

All the emotion he held in those eyes was mesmerising, leaving me speechless, growing the silence between us longer. "Fate works in mysterious ways," Jasper tells me, his voice a slight whisper. "He bends time to make it fit to you, or not; depends on his mood. He choses who your mate may be, and picks when they will enter your life. It can either make or break you." His words bound me still, as I stared unblinkingly at him. I suppose I never thought about it that way.

“Onward, Talon! Remember, you are not just leaving your past behind; you are carrying it with you, shaping who you will become.” I chuckled softly and began to walk down the hallway. How easily time slips from us. Just when we think we have all the time in the world, it finds a way to remind us that it isn't us who are in control, but time itself. Fate and time are intertwined, two forces that guide our paths in ways we often fail to comprehend.

And then, in awe, as the sky filled with drach and the Brotherhood fought them. And then, darkness. I caught a brief flicker of something past the dark, but Fate cut me off before I could explore it, though I knew the location, the Sidhe cavern. What wasn't she showing me? "What happens during your fight will decide where time and destiny run from there. Yes, there are possibilities, but they are fuzzy, insubstantial." Fate released my hand. "But at that moment, when you face Belaisle, everything, every plane, will stand still and even time will wait for the outcome."

she replied. Helpful. Selene laughed in my mind. “I’m sorry my messages are sometimes vague, Avelina. I am limited on how much I can tell you without disrupting the order of the universe and causing problems for the Fates.” “The Fates?” “Yes, my daughter. The Fates ensure the world carries on as it should, that people are in the right places at the right time, that people die when they are supposed to and live when they should. Not all future events are set in stone, some can be influenced. The events that can be influenced are easier for me to discuss with you as the choice is ultimately yours. Events that can’t be changed and have to happen in a specific way are harder.”

“Yes, yes, and yes.” Ema scoffed knowingly while walking inside the apartment. “That man probably checks if you’re breathing every five minutes now.” Hazel smiled helplessly because… honestly? Accurate. Ema turned toward her immediately. “Wait.” A suspicious narrowing of eyes. “He left you alone?” Hazel sat down carefully on the couch. “He had meetings, Ema. He already postponed work for a month because of me.” “And?” Ema crossed her arms dramatically. “If my pregnant best friend almost fell into another dimension down the stairs, I’d never leave her side again.”

“You’re catching on. Yes, they get another chance. But they don’t remember their past lives. Each time is a new beginning.” Charlene’s mind raced. “So what about the Fates? What’s their deal?” “Ah, now you’re asking the real questions.” ReNew’s voice grew thoughtful. “There are two groups here—the ones who lead and the ones who guide souls on their journeys. The Fates are the workers, the ones who carry out destiny. Over time, their spirits pass on, recycled into new lives—either as another Fate or as a soul awaiting rebirth.” “And the others?”
