Springtime For Blossom Novels & Stories

It may only make it worse. So I give up and go back to the vines. “The small ball right here means a flower will bloom. “ I move one under the leaves. “See this?” “That’s a bud?” Mykhol stretches one hand over my chest to touch the small ball. “Er, yes, it is.” I turn but stop as I spy Mykhol’s lips. They are close—almost too close. ”And things are turning green again. Spring may come early.” “That would be nice.” Mykhol leans in. His chest brushes against my shoulders. “Do you like spring?”

SSHS 151 It is now the official start of spring. No longer the cold weather and the cold breeze of Monday mornings. The snow was melting and they were letting the green of the grass to be alive and glisten under the sun and glimmer like a new found gold. The birds are back to their cherry self and singing the songs of spring, they are now all hanging around the trees with the new leaves and waiting for the fruits to grow and feast on it. The flowers were painting the walkways and the ground of the La Florence Academy with a vibrant and colourful twist in it that every student walking could only bear a smile.

“Do you smell it?” My frown deepened. “What nonsense are you blabbering about? Have you lost your mind?” He turned his head away from me, doing that weird sniffing thing. “The whole palace needs to be rid of moonveil blossom.” Moonveil blossom. There was nothing like that planted anywhere on my grounds. “I think you have officially lost it and you better pray to the goddess that I don’t lose my shit.” “Who put this flower here?” He motioned to the discard bouquet. “Whoever put this here is bathed in the moonveil blossom.”

' I seethed inwardly. I stared into his eyes, heavy with blame, and my heart ached. My five years of heartfelt devotion did not seem to weigh as much as Wren's sudden return. In a rush to follow the ambulance, Trevin did not even bother with shoes, tossing me a hurried thought. "We'll have to postpone the wedding. Wren needs me." The groomsmen blocked his path. Trevin snapped, "Why are you stopping me?" "Trevin, you're on the brink of marriage. Don't let a rash decision spoil everything!"

Yet not long after she had left, the two of them had ended up like this. However, this no longer had anything to do with Laura, as she now had her own matters to attend to. She had pushed open the wooden window, watered the few potted plants outside, then set down the watering can and lay back on the recliner, gazing at the school surrounded by mountains. It was the summer holidays, and only a few teachers had remained in the small school. Laura had been one of them. The afternoon sunlight had made people drowsy, causing her to drift back into memories of the past.

That aside, he also could not deny that deep down, he was beginning to realize that Freya was the one woman besides Cassiopeia that he could regard with admiration. However, Cassiopeia was his childhood sweetheart. She had anchored herself a place in his heart. Even though she had got Anya to attack Liam, she had already been duly punished for it. The only solution he could think of that would work out for everyone was simply to send Freya and Liam abroad to prevent them from meeting. With that, he, Cassiopeia, and Anya could return to the way things were. He decided that he would take the time to fly abroad each month to visit Freya and Liam.

Spring arrives in Moonhaven with exuberant beauty—cherry blossoms exploding along Main Street, daffodils carpeting the town square, magnolias unfurling pink and white splendor against newly blue skies. Even residents who have lived here all their lives comment on the particular vibrancy of this year's renewal. "It's like the whole town is especially alive," Luna observes one morning as we share coffee on the small deck behind her café. "Like everything is more... itself, somehow."

She thought about all the creek conversations — her and Stellan, her and Delia, the Tuesday with Voss Callander's provisional decision. She put the stone on the windowsill. It stayed there. May, the garden. She brought Breen to the east garden on the first Saturday that was warm enough. The rose was budding. The clematis was in its third full year — Delia had been right, as Delia was right about growing things. The third year was the established year, the year of the full expression. The clematis climbed the opposite wall with the committed ambition of something that had been doing its root work for three years and was now ready to show it.

The morning was quiet. I stood at the window, watching the sun rise. Spring was finally here, chasing away the last traces of winter. The garden was green, lush and alive. The roses were blooming, their petals unfurling in shades of crimson and white, their fragrance drifting through the open window. The air smelled of flowers and new beginnings, of earth and hope.

The sun hung low over the western mountains, bathing Blackthorn in shades of amber and gold. The kingdom had never looked more beautiful. The last remnants of winter clung stubbornly to the shaded hillsides, but the first signs of spring had begun to appear. Tiny green shoots pushed through the melting snow, birds returned to the palace gardens after months away, and the streams surrounding the valley flowed freely once again. It was as though nature itself understood. A new season was beginning. Not only for the land.
