Springtime For Blossom Novels & Stories

The morning air was thick with the scent of blooming cherry blossoms, their pink petals fluttering to the ground like confetti. But the beauty of spring could not mask the gathering storm on the horizon. Natalie Evans stood by the large bay window of her study, arms crossed as she watched the world outside her mountain retreat. It had been weeks since she’d returned from the city, weeks spent reorganizing her plans and forging new alliances. The calm had given her time to think, to strategize. But something in her gut told her that calm was about to break.

Julian’s eyes wandered to a clothing store next door that was opening the same day. [First Bloom] Julian looked at the sign twice. When he looked inside the window, he froze. A slender, graceful figure stood behind the counter. He stared in shock. Someone behind him nudged him impatiently. He snapped out of it and ran forward.

Nikolai led her through the mansion, down a different set of hallways to a set of French doors that opened onto the most beautiful garden Anya had ever seen. It was early spring, the kind of soft, hopeful warmth that made the world feel new again. Along the winding stone path, cherry blossoms were just beginning to bloom, their petals drifting like confetti in the breeze. In the center of it all stood a fountain, water gently spilling over stone-carved wolves. A few benches were tucked into quiet corners, made for slow breaths and silent thoughts. The whole place felt like a pause in time. "It's beautiful," she said.

"Something came up at work. Wait for me at home, I'll be back early." I didn't call him out on it. After he left, I accepted Mabel's friend request. Her latest post was a photo of a sea of roses with the caption. "My love planted my favorite roses with his own hands." My chest tightened. So, even the roses weren't planted for me. Before we got married, he had promised to give me a field of roses all my own. But he was always busy, and I'd never brought it up again. He suddenly prepared a sea of roses because someone else wanted it.

Then, he lightly bit down on my collarbone. “Who remembers? I do. Very clearly. Since you’ve forgotten, you should start thinking about how you’re going to make it up to me tonight.” Fireworks suddenly ignited at the foot of the mountain. It was probably from the school, as it marked the final event of the graduation ceremony. Explosions of light bloomed across the night sky and momentarily illuminated the darkness. It was a night of celebration with laughter and joy. I had finally found my answer, even if that answer was a little reckless, even if it exhausted me all night.

It was the turn of the spring season, and the heavy winter rains across the territory were finally giving way to bright mountain sunlight. In the heart of the central pack territory, the ancient timberlands exploded into a dazzling display of vibrant green and wild blossom hues. Peach trees bloomed along the winding forest trails leading out of the settlement, filling the crisp air with the sweet scent of fresh growth. Once I finished settling my remaining affairs, I gathered little Briar Ashwyn into my arms and secured passage toward the Silvermoon Capital.

Perhaps they were watching the door that she passed through. For them not to follow her into the garden. It must mean that there is nothing to aid her escape here. Honestly, after seeing such a beautiful garden, the thoughts of escaping instantly vanished from her mind. After all, even if she had it in mind, she couldn't fulfill it, so she might as well enjoy her temporary rest. It is spring now. The cherry blossom tree had bloomed, and the petals were dropping. Valencia spread her hand and inhaled the beautiful scent from the garden. Some of the petals fell on her, giving her an otherworldly look. The scene appeared as if it were straight out of a painting.

After failing to seduce his ice queen CEO wife, Josie Sinclair, for the 999th time, Tyler Ford finally called his sister Zoey. "I've decided to get a divorce, Zoey." There was three-seconds of silence before Zoey said solemnly, "I told you long ago that you would never be able to bring someone like Josie down from her pedestal." Tyler teared up as he smiled. "You're right. I was way over my head."

Spring returned to the garden with quiet insistence, pushing green shoots through the last patches of melting snow and coaxing early buds from the branches of the oak tree. The ribbons, weathered by winter but still vibrant, swayed in the warmer breeze like old friends greeting the new season. Nearly eighteen years of history fluttered there — births, departures, reconciliations, and countless daily choices woven into colorful threads.

Fuck! “Hey, how is our favourite princess this morning?” I shake my head and make a coffee, ignoring all questions. All I do is smile at them. Once my coffee is made, I leave the kitchen and head to the gardens. Stepping out into the warm spring air, I move towards my favourite spot. Under the blossom tree. I sit down and lean back with a sigh as I lean my head back against it. Watching as the blossoms float aimlessly down in a delicate dance on the breeze. I can never get over the sight of blossoms. I think they are extremely beautiful.
