LEVI’S POV "I know right," I replied as I grabbed both of our school bags, then paid our drinks. “I can’t walk properly, right? What happened, Levi? Did I d-damaged my b-brain already?” he asked as I helped him walked outside the bar. He was struggling from walking so I had to help him. His white uniform was stained already, his hair was greasy, and his actions were slow and clumsy. “Let me see,” I uttered. “Difficulty in walking, blurred vision, red cheeks, impaired memory... yes, I guess.”

“And who’s this?” Levi, who had been looking around the compound with a kind of overwhelmed awe, immediately bristled at Eli’s tone. The defensiveness snapped back into place like a shield. “I’m Levi,” he said, his voice a challenge. “Who’re you?” Eli’s eyebrows rose slightly. “I’m Eli. Head of perimeter security. And we have a protocol for new arrivals.” “Yeah? What’s the protocol? A pat-down and a cavity search?” Levi shot back, crossing his arms. “I just spent two days with these two. I think they vouch for me not having a bomb up my ass.”

Levi, Adrian, and Blake “Men, we need you to go to Obsidian pack lands and investigate the attack that happened there last night.” Council elder, Leroy, says. “Alpha Apollo and his pack went last night to find any survivors, and only one survived.” Leroy informs us. “We need you to search the entire area to find out who did this.” Levi, Adrian, and Blake exchange a look, their jaws clenched in determination.
