Wendy Everything was great. The graduation ceremony was awesome. My brother’s friend Zach met his mate, who just happens to be my sister-in-law Cyra’s cousin Sadique. That was fun to watch. Then, I got to watch my brother Yorick, Cyra, and their friends graduate. And if that wasn’t enough, Yorick earned his place on the C-Squad, an elite fighting squad, while his friends earned their place on the Alpha and Beta squads. Just as exciting was seeing the creation of the newest squad, the squad suggested by Henry’s mate, Piper. It’s a rotating squad for those who can’t be full-time elite fighters, now called the Delta Squad.

The Kutcher Squad asked cautiously, looking at Lucas. Kutcher was the general term used for the hunting squad in Confluence Base City. There were a dozen or so squads in total, and the squad next to Lucas happened to be the Kutcher Squad 2. “Light, what are you guys still doing here? You should hurry up and head back to the headquarters. Jackson Sanford is coming.” At that moment, a Rank 1 Evolved One walked over and said to the Kutcher Squad 2’s leader. As soon as he finished speaking, the Rank 1 Evolved One ran off.

She placed her hands on my shoulders as she looked into my eyes. My head snapped up as I tried to make sense of it all. “What is an ‘Alpha Supreme’? And an ‘Alliance’?” Magenta lowered her hands from my shoulders. “An Alpha Supreme is an Alpha in charge of an area. Regions in the world are divided into sections, not just here in the United States. An Alpha Supreme is chosen to oversee all the Packs. All of the Alphas answer to him.” She shook her head as she let out a deep breath. “Usually, it’s the strongest Alpha in the area.”
