I had actually been revived. I wanted nothing more than to sprout wings and fly straight to my mate's side. But just as I turned down a small path, a familiar voice drifted toward me. As if everything that had already happened wasn’t enough I had to gave him again at the celebratory buffet and I couldn’t decline the invite because it was my sister…. I gave him a small smile of thanks and followed Lari out, and we headed down the street to our parent’s home. I walked towards the door and she called back. "My sister," she said and I froze, my fingers clenching on the door knob. "I had her taken to the funeral home on Castor Street — one of ours. Nobody would ask questions there.” I said. I opened the door and walked out, closing it on whatever she had been about to say. --- Marco was in the east wing, waiting for me.
