Written in the Stars
Together, they found a comfortable spot on the sand and lay down to admire the night sky.
As the sky darkened, the stars began to dot the firmament. Bruno, who loved astronomy, started to identify some constellations and stars for Helena, who listened with enchantment to his explanations.
Then, amid this magical moment, a shooting star streaked across the sky in a luminous trail. Helena smiled and looked at Bruno. "Make a wish," she said.
Bruno looked at Helena with a sparkle in his eyes but hesitated for a moment. "I don't believe in superstitions," he confessed. "These things about making wishes on shooting stars... they don't make sense to me."
