I just stared at him, unable to say anything. He introduced himself to me and after a very lengthy conversation I learnt that he was the leader of the group he called 'the Rebel'; That their planet had been taken over by The Force, a group that overthrew the government, killed almost everyone of them with supernatural abilities that refused to work for them and enslaved other citizens. The Rebel was formed to identify those with powers and bring them such that when their numbers grew big they would rise up against the Force and reclaim their land.

“You think I don’t hate this? That I don’t wake up every night wishing I could change it? Enhanced reflexes, genetic resilience — and a fail-safe command. To die before you do.” My heart stops. “You’re not—” “Human?” He gives a sad, crooked smile. “Not entirely.”
