It was a new start for them with lives as royalty, as leaders. Raven had her usual, devilish grin on her face as she watched Darrow operate the ship as if he had already done it a thousand times, as well as the rest of her family dancing and celebrating under the moon. She had been cheering with them so much that her voice was sore and her legs were too tired to be stable. This ship was one of her biggest dreams, as was having a city to call her own. She told Jean Luc that once before. She wondered if he remembered. Raven had certainly remembered the dream he wished for the most.

Blood splatter onto the lower deck. “Reload!” Jack screamed as the crew shuffled to hurry up and follow orders. “Load the cannons fools!!” Rowling yelled to his crew as they were in a daze. Rowling's ship powered through trying to get out of the way of fire. Gavin’s ship was waiting for him. Another ship had caught up to Rowlings. Seeing the cannon fire the ship's captain pulled the ship to the other side of Rowling. Letting Rowling's ship block any potential fire. The second ship began making its way to Gavin’s ship. It was a standard size ship, nothing special compared to the Morning Star, but it had cannons and was fully loaded. The sails of the ship were gray and no special flag hung off

Ambassador Aethon's expression was pleasant as he said, "We've identified your ships as from Xanthea. We also have an alliance with King Raphael." I asked with interest, "How did you recognize our ships while they're cloaked?" He explained, "Your ships have a similar energy signature to ours, making them identifiable even when cloaked." He bowed slightly. "Ah, That explains it, I said feeling more at ease. "The ship beside us is Commander Rage of 'Phoenix Wrath', also from Xanthea. We're Earth's protectors and returned from Xanthea in time to prevent further damage. Thank you for your help. Nice to meet you, Ambassador Aethon." I nodded in a gesture of respect.

Raven was a true leader, in every way. As we approached the water, there was a larger cargo ship waiting for us. We were to board the boat and it would take us like we were captured woman and drop us of at the island. So far, we haven’t been attacked but I could feel it in my bones, it was coming. The flames chose you for a reason.” The child like voice appeared again. It screamed in her ears, “RAVEN”.. RAVEN… She has heard that before…but where? The name sent a shiver through Charlotte, as if it resonated with a part of her she hadn’t known existed.

LOGAN'S POV The morning sun streamed through the tall windows of my study, throwing long, golden rectangles across the polished wood floor. I leaned back in my chair, feet crossed on the edge of the desk, as Redmond shifted a bit uneasily beside me. Raven sat on the opposite side, her hands curled around a steaming cup of tea, eyes bright with curiosity. “So the Bithron,” Raven began, breaking the silence with a pointed glance. “Are they leaving soon?”

he said, “We found someone on the border of Mars Pack.” “An intruder?” I asked, folding my hands behind my back. “Not just any intruder,” he continued. “Raven Cross, Frank Cross’s first daughter. She’s requesting an audience with you.” A beat of silence passed as the name made my blood burn. “Raven Cross?” I asked/ “She claims she wants to sever ties with Mars Pack,” he explained, the doubt dripping from his words. “She says she wants to pledge her loyalty to you, Alpha.”

Without hesitation, he shoved me out of the encirclement while the pack tore into him. He had saved me at the risk of his own life all three times. So, how could I not love him? When he saw me staring at him silently, Raven scratched his head in confusion. "Well, do you want to see the meteor shower?" I snapped out of my memories and flashed him a sweet smile. "Sure! Let's go tonight!" Raven's expression softened slightly as he opened the car door for me. "Go home first, and I'll pick you up later."

ALPHA FENRIR’s POV. “Raven! Where the F U C K are you?” I hissed angrily. “Here alpha Fenrir,” Raven answered and quickly rushed out to meet me. I approached Raven, my eyes blazing with anger. She looked up at me, she bit her lower lips. "So, Damien is dead," I stated my voice firm but my rage evident as I spoke. "And I hear you were the last one to see him alive. Care to explain?”
