I watch the door open, Bear, Hawk and Doc walking in and sitting. “Take a look.” I watch as Grayson holds out the box and envelope. Why is he showing them? I stare at him. “Raven’s past is coming back, it’s someone who likes to kill those she is close to. So we’re calling in everyone, if we’re not with her, we need at least three more guys watching her closely.” “You said those she is close to?” Doc looks at us and we nod. “Yes, that includes Ava, so if we’re not going to be with Ava, we need more people around her.” I won’t let Grayson pretend like Ava isn’t a target.

“Executioner.” Ragnar staggered to Raven’s side, his hand gripping her arm, grounding her. “This is it. All of us, together.” Raven nodded, her fire steadying as Shadow pressed against her heart. Her gaze locked on Selene, who hovered above them, monstrous and radiant in her corruption. Flame. Storm. Fang. Blade. They would not bow. “Now,” Raven whispered, silver fire erupting from her skin as she launched skyward, her claws burning brighter than ever.

“Status.” His breathing came hard, strained. “It’s a setup. Dock Seven’s gone. We’ve lost half the crew. Jaxon...” The line cracked with static, then silence. Raven’s stomach turned to ice. She pressed the accelerator harder. The tires screamed against wet asphalt as she tore through an intersection, barely missing a van. When she reached the east bay, the docks were already a vision of hell. Flames licked skyward from ruptured containers. The stench of oil, salt, and blood fused into something metallic that burned her throat. The pier’s metal skeleton groaned, collapsing into black water below.

The stranger I’m supposed to marry. My chest tightens. Then his voice cuts through my spiral. “See?” he says in that infuriatingly calm tone. “You just had the chance to tell me, and you didn’t.” I sink deeper into my seat, suddenly exhausted. “You’re right,” I mutter. “I didn’t.” And that’s the last thing I say. I keep my eyes glued to the window for the rest of the drive, letting the world smear past me. “We’re here.”

This time it was a different voice—female, older, carrying the particular cadence of someone used to managing complicated situations. "Dr. Sterling." Not a question. "I'm Elara. I represent the Starborn Council. We need to discuss what you actually are." Raven's grip on the phone tightened. "I'm human." "You're not," Elara replied calmly. "You're a dormant Starborn who's been suppressing her consciousness for seven years. And the man currently dying outside your location is an alpha who bonded with you before you fully suppressed your identity. Which means his survival depends on your cooperation whether you like it or not."

He stands up from his desk to tell us to leave, but before he can say or do anything, Allistar brings up a good point. "Should we be concerned about Raven shifting tonight? She has been in 2 comas these last couple weaks and she recently took a serious blow to the head. The silver from the first attack is now just getting out of her system. Is she in danger by shifting with us tonight?" He sounds really concerned, but also hopeful that it'll all work out.

That’s where I decided to stay by his side forever.” She said, “So when I heard that you touched Brix earlier, I knew this would lead to this.” I didn’t know she was caring a bit for me, so I let myself cry in front of her. This harsh world has really bad situations for the wolves…it’s better to die... “Ravena do you have a knife?” I asked, “Or any silver?” Her eyes widened, “What? No way..you’re going to kill yourself?” I nodded. “But…”

Her neck was pierced, she looked and saw two other guys in the room, they must have sucked from her. "Mia, I'm glad you are alright" Nanny said hugging her dearly " These are the creatures I warned you about. Don't worry Raven will finish them off for us so we can have peace" Nanny said In a twinkle of an eye, Carly was kicked to their side. She groaned gritting her teeth in anger. She had been fighting with Raven "It's almost time for your siren to blow your asses back home. Just send this message to your father" Raven said pulling Carly up to rip her gown.

Kariya asked Dream Chaser to make the ship go faster, so she gave it some power and the ship sped up. After a while Kariya was able to find Jaque and the Red Rebel Raiders. They were flying about searching the desert for the book hoping to avoid the coming storm. Kariya waited for the storm then fired a fireball making sure not to hit his dads ship. Jaque looked around for the culprit, but because of the storm he didn’t see anyone. Using the storm as cover Kariya and the Night nation knights boarded the enemy ship and killed or captured the Red Rebel Raider pirates. Dream Chaser quelled the storm for everyone to see Jaque Cline cowering in fear.
