The air around her thickened, the ground vibrated underfoot, and the faint crackle of unseen fire whispered at the edges of her senses. The power-the one she had always struggled to control-answered her call now, like an old friend returning after a long absence. Skylar extended her hand-and the world responded. A circle of water spiraled up from the cracked earth, forming a shimmering barrier between them and the encroaching shades. The words don’t feel like enough. “He’s going to feel it happen when he loses his hold on your powers,” she warns, but I just nod, watching the wicks crackle. It takes an eternity, but the candles burn hot, wax melts, and eventually, the twine catches fire. Stella grabs a handful of salt out of her cloak like she carries it around with her everywhere and sprinkles a figure eight around the candles. She steps back to watch, neither of us speaking for a long time. “What will you do when you have your powers back?” she asks.

I knew it was a big decision to make, but as they explained when the time was right, I would know who would be deserving of the title. When training began, they pushed it over my limit, always telling me that I need to be ready for the toughest of choices from now on. Trying to master ten powers was difficult, they made sure of it. They explained that ever Moon Goddess has an eleventh power, no one knew what it was, but it would come to me at a time that was most needed. My powers varied in many areas: Water, earth, air, fire, teleportation, levitation, hypnosis, shape shifting, mind reading and finally healing.

Stars voice was soft yet held authority as she sent feelings of calmness towards me allowing me to focus better. A woman called from somewhere in the crowd, her tone disbelieving. "The girl can control fire, generate it from within her body and use it to kill."

When she hears Ronnie approaching her, she turns to look at him and then attacks him with her peculiar powers. "I can't allow this to happen," says the girl, and then throws Ronnie to another side just as she did with the other rebel. With a cold look, the girl confronts the other rebels and now there was no one to stop her, it was as if anger was controlling her and reason was something no one could understand. One by one, the rebels were thrown by the force of this girl and her ability to make them fly, she wanted to end everyone there without any consideration for her actions.

Grace’s POV . I would have been praising my sister’s powers if I wouldn’t have been mad at them. While Gina had the power of teleportation, Gia had the power to make anyone blind for a while if he/she looked into her eyes. I had thought that there was no way I could escape so easily from there but thanks to them, I reached Peter's house in the next few seconds after Wyatt entered the room. That’s because Gia used her power to make him blind for a while and we escaped.

Eva could feel the heat rising beneath her skin, the energy of her power screaming for release, demanding recognition. Suddenly, a flash of movement caught her eye from behind. Another shadow emerged, smaller, agile, circling her, testing her reactions, gauging her strength. Her glow flared automatically, light expanding outward in a protective wave, forcing it back, but more seemed to materialize, unseen until they were upon her.
