There was no time to waste. Lyda rushed to work. She retrieved the last pages of Aunt Mara's book from under her mattress, tossing them aside until she found the one she was looking for. The hardened black substance on the parchment revealed a drawing consisting of a circle with a series of lines running inside it to form a six-armed star, the vertices of which pointed to six smaller circles around the edge of the large one. This was it. She remembered studying it briefly before Aunt Mara's book was destroyed, but now was the time to put her knowledge to the test.

“Not today Saint, please. Let’s just focus on Luca’s birthday and we can discuss everything tomorrow. Why don’t you and Harry head over to the restaurant and start putting up the decorations.” More growling came from Saint and Harry moved to stand in front of him. “Baby I know it’s upsetting,” he said, “but try and take a deep breath okay? My hand stops at the glass bubble and I avoid touching that part. There is a piece of gold string sticking out of the pages and I think it's a bookmarker. I turn to the marked page first. I'm curious to know what spell or enchantment was looked at last. The pages of the book are shiny and thicker than a normal page. It has a silver kind of tinge to them. I begin to examine the page that is marked with the gold string. It has a diagram of what looks to be the sun and all the planets around it.

I muttered, opening the first page. I needed to start working on myself so that I could erase all thoughts of Xavier’s sister from his memory. On the first page of the book was a table of content, showing all that was to be found in the book. I scrolled down from the introduction and jumped to “Casting your first spell.” I traced my finger on the dotted lines and found the page number. I opened the book and when I got to this page, I stopped. The name of the contact was boldly written in capital letters and it took the whole page. Opening to the next page, I found it’s content.
