A single beep confirmed input. Lights above flickered. And from somewhere inside the walls, a voice echoed. Familiar. Distorted. “Cassian Vale. You are the root.” He froze. Aria turned. “What?” “System command: reinitialize emotional authority.”

He just nodded slowly, pain flashing through his old, tired eyes. I looked down again. The words on the page blurred, then sharpened. "Kael helped lead the attack. He is part of the hidden force.
