"You need to be calm and...." "I'm calm", I cut him short. "Don't be nervous, just be yourself and ignore whatever criticism is thrown at you", he says. His last statement caught my attention. What criticism? My heart raced. "And please, I want you to play along as you have always been doing, ok?" I nod. "There are some people I want you to stay away from. You have no business whatsoever with them and one of them is my father", he looks away from me again. "Your father?" I can't believe his father is the first person he wants me to avoid.

I'm done with you and so, stay away from Miguel if you don't want to get hurt. I won't spare you if you ever show up unannounced.” Her eyes popped up. “W-what!” He shrugged his shoulders. “He doesn't need you anymore. Our son is going to have another mother very soon so keep the distance, I don't want you near him.”

He sighed in defeat. I was slightly stunned and stared at him for a moment. It had me wondering why I'm being hostile to him since the incident. I know for myself that I'm just afraid of what can happen when my son and I are close to him. Who knows if another Ivory would show up and harm my son? That's what I can't handle anymore, especially since I'm leading a life now.

“You could have killed her and your son. So, whatever you do, if you care about her and your son at all, stay the fuck away from Gwen and stay the fuck away from Emlyn until you get this figured out.” He walks out the door, leaving me stunned and alone with my regret.

"Well everything is not perfectly fine. I got a very disturbing message last night concerning my son. His life is in danger because someone is threatening him. Now I dont know why someone would purposely do that to him but I need you to be extra careful today. I need you to keep an eye on my son for me. If possible, do not leave his side tonight and make sure that if anything should go wrong, you call me immediately. I cannot risk anything bad happening to my son so please, I am begging you, protect him at all cost."

I don't want to confuse him more than he already is. Getting too close to Soren and his daughter is just too risky. But I can't tell Liam that. I just can't. And I was getting nervous about this conversation. I shouldn't. Why should I be bothered about Soren? As long as he keeps away from Liam. I don't care if he lingers around. Just not close to my son.
