Step To Reading Books Novels & Stories

I followed what he said and entered the silent aisles and my pointer finger ran along the shelves while squinting my eyes to find a good book. Book after book, one caught my eye and I tip-toed to reach for it, immediately opening the pages once taking it in my hands. I leaned my body to the shelf in front of me and read the prologue of the story. Turning the pages more, I wasn’t aware that I was standing for quite a long time already to notice that I was almost half of the story and Brye walked closer to me.

"Lilih, your reading speed is so fast..." Jack whispered in shock as he took a bite of his apple, Liana finished reading two thirds of a book in half an hour. " Actually, I'm just reading to familiarize myself with current technology, not reading in detail, you know? " Since Liana already had a good base, she could figure out which parts of the text she needed to concentrate on after just a quick scan, this way she didn't have to waste time reading things she already knew, and as soon as she finished reading, she already picked up another and continued her reading.

Outside, I could hear the faint sound of rain beginning to fall against the library roof. For a while, we didn’t speak. We just read. I traced my finger under each word, making sure I didn’t miss anything. Reading still wasn’t something that came easily to me, not until Ryker had taken the time to teach me. It had started with simple things: labels, short notes, the occasional page from a children’s book. Then longer sentences, then paragraphs. Now here I was, poring over dense, looping handwriting from a book that looked like it had survived two centuries.

We didn't have this back in the my pack but my uncle always got me books to read. Eager to explore, I set off down the aisles, my fingers grazing the spines of countless books. Each one seemed to whisper its secrets to me, beckoning me further into the labyrinth of knowledge. I couldn't contain my excitement as I selected my first book, feeling its rough texture beneath my fingertips. I found a comfortable spot in a cozy nook, nestled among the towering shelves, and began to lose myself in the words.

“But it won’t feel right.” He walks away from me and settles down on one of the pristine cream couches. “I’m ready when you are.” I carry on looking at him for a few seconds more, then I make my decision. I open my very first book, when the four kids first met, and take it to him. Our fingers don’t touch. He bends his head and starts reading, and I take a step back. Not knowing what to do with myself I walk to the bed and perch on it, but I can’t sit still, so I stand up and walk to the window.
