Step To Reading Books Novels & Stories

Then he moved over in the bed in a way that was unambiguous. She reached for the book on the nightstand. It was a picture book, well-worn, the spine cracked with use. She opened it and began to read. She was three pages in when she heard the door, which she had left partially open, move slightly. She did not look up. She kept reading, her voice even and calm and unremarkable, the voice for reading that she had perfected over seven years of doing exactly this.

“Everything that I ask you to do, is part of what you need to learn to become a Jinni. Today, you’ll read. I’ll have someone bring your dinner in here.” “And I need to finish all of these tonight?’ “Not necessarily.” “Oh, that’s cool. I don’t really think I can read all of that tonight.” “One thing though, do not just read. Understand.” “Yeah, I will.” “I’m serious Charlie. Read not just with your eyes but with your heart and your mind. Sometimes, books are the most magical thing you will ever find on this earth. All you need to do is begin.” She flinched the moment she heard those words. They were oddly familiar.

Reading will help me learn. "Sorry miss, can I just get that book." A guy stands next to me pointing to a book in the corner. I step back giving him space, watching as he picks up the book. Standing he scans it and puts it back. "New here?" He looks at me, as he gets another book and scans it. I'm guessing he works here. "Could say that." I nod and place the book down, I struggle to read the back from boredom so I doubt I will read the book.

My footsteps echo, lamps lighting and going out as I pass through the aisles. Shelf number 89. And on its 11th row must be that memoir. How I’m going to reach the 11th row is another question entirely. I can barely reach upto the eighth one. I look around for any kind of ladder of stepping stone but come up short. I blow out an irritated breath. Forgive me, knowledge. I step on the fourth row books, and grab the wood above to reach the eleventh row and start reading the names on the spines of books there. After several tomes about travels across this world, I find the one I’m looking for.

He hated her and for sure didn’t want her help. Once again, she walked to the same study room and thought of waiting for him while scanning the books. From fictional romance to nonfiction world’s reality, there are hundreds of books to engage the readers. Her finger senses the spine of books like she could feel the words inside it, reading them softly, when Samson entered the room quietly.

“No, go to the house instead. I left a book in my room. You can use it to practice your reading.” Her eyes go wide. “Really?” “Yes,” I mutter. I got it from the library. There are many helpful books, even for beginners, there. As long as she remains diligent, I’ll never let her run out of study material. On my feet, I pull her up, smiling at her excitement. “You said you wanted to read without help. The book is bulky, but it should help.” Jade flushes. If we had been in the room, she might have hugged me. “Thank you, my lady. I can’t wait to read full sentences and write my name.”

After 5 minutes if struggling she finally succeeded to take the book down in her hands. She sat on the floor, her back leaning against the shelf as she first admired the cover. Then she turned the book to read the description about the story. Then she hurriedly opened the cover and started to read the first chapter with a satisfied smile dancing in her face. This was the most exciting thing to do for herself. No wonder she didn't realized when the presiding man actually stepped in to invade her imagination and moment of peace.

Mila could not help but smile at how adorable she was. "Look, if you want my advice, don't do anything you don't like to impress anyone. If you want me to suggest you a couple of good books I don't mind, but you have to love reading so you can enjoy it," Mila spoke. The girl sighed and looked down for a few moments then looked back up at Mila. "You think so?" she asked quietly and Mila nodded with a smile on her face. "Okay, but my mum wants me to give reading a try so...can you recommend me some easy books? Something that won't bore me," the girl requested and Mila nodded.

"More slowly this time." She goes back to her room. The second book, in its first reader's hands. The co-author, reading it for the second time. The practice, continuing into the next form it will take.

I frowned as I drew closer, curious. “What are these?” I asked, lowering myself onto the floor beside the table. “This is step one,” he said simply, dropping into the armchair across from me. “If you’re serious about learning human language, we will start from the foundation. Children’s books.” I stared at the stack of books, bright covers with smiling cartoon animals stared back at me. It almost felt insulting to me, an adult, expected to sit like a child and sound out human words. It's fine I'm used to enduring humiliation at the hands of my pack.
