After returning to her bed, she unfolded the documents and carefully examined them with her eyes. With relentless attention, her fingers danced over the device, tapping at the screen. She was going to exact revenge on Jace for leaving her for someone else, and she had a plan. Nor was she going to give up until she had achieved her goal.

“There’s a book section over there. Let’s find you a nice steamy one.” She heads off towards an area of the store and I slowly follow her to a wall of books with scantly clad people on them. “Why are most of them cowboys or cops?” “Handcuffs and ropes,” she says easily and quickly. She pulls out a cowboy one and hands it to me before scanning the rest. “What’s it about?” I ask as I turn the book over.
