I walked out into the hall. Sam was staring at me in disbelief and then it edged over to anger as his eyes turned darker and more narrowed. He looked down at Stephanie squirming on the floor. A few of the warriors had gathered around her and were looking at Damien for orders. No one touched her. She was writing in pain and for me, it was glorious. Sam turned around and ran downstairs. He kneeled beside her and lifted her head. Stephanie pushed at his chest and rose to her feet. Her eyes found mine and they started glowing. She couldn't possibly have her wolf. She had barely eaten, her strength and her wolf would be the first to go.

I plaster a cheeky smirk on my face and walk into the office. “Long time no see, Adam Phlem. I have a proposal that would benefit both of us,” came rushing out of my mouth. I fixed my gaze on him and I’ll admit, he wasn’t bad looking. Okay he is smoking Hot. His ocean-Blue eyes stared at me with so much intensity, I was sure I would combust on the spot. “Stephanie, are you supposed to be dead?” He asked in a cold voice, laced with the tiniest bit of curiosity. Ahah!

This is not how things were supposed to be. As I watch the funeral procession go by --my father, mother, and I, along with the beta family, must stand at the entrance as guests move from the temple to the burial grounds-- I catch a glimpse of Stephanie’s younger sister, Lily. She is standing next to her mother. She looks both sad and innocent, which causes the anger in my body to rise even more. That little brat is the reason that Stephanie is dead. ***FLASHBACK TO LAST NIGHT***

“Why are you so eager to ruin my relationship with Audrey? You’re the one who broke up with me, Steph.” A loud, dry laugh came out of Stephanie’s lips. Her red lipstick made her look villainous with the fierce look burning in her eyes, opposite to her usual angelic temperament. “No, Shane. Gracious, that Audrey girl sure ruined my plan but I don’t really have any hatred against her. It’s just that she’s related to you,” Stephanie said, changing her expression once again. She was different from the sweet and kind Stephanie that Shane used to date and was willing to protect from the rest of the world.

“I'm Stephanie.” She stretched forth her hand, “I'm Jessica.” Receiving her hand, I found out that she'd intertwined my gloved fingers with some form of thaumaturgy. She laughed and said, “You're lucky you met me first. Take my advice, Steph, never blindly shake a thaumaturgist.” She then let off the spell and smiled cutely. I flexed my wrists and smiled shyly, “Well... thanks.” “No qualms, mate. Dormitory A as well?”

He smiles at me - a flash of white teeth that promises the Tax tonight will be paid in blood and salt. I sit there, ruined and wet, watching the man I love to hate plan a wedding with a woman who has no idea she’s sharing his bed with his stepmother.

she muttered as she felt the taste of the wine in her mouth. And there was Jake and Mike,deeping their heads right into a piece of shit. Stephanie shook her head. Drama everywhere. She couldn't help but feel pity for them.The last thing she wants is some duo of loverbirds to destroy her perfect plan. She'd go to any length to make her scheme fall through. It has to. She stood and strode to the window. Edward would soon be back and Stephanie could guess that Diana is planning on backing out of this contract but over her dead body would she let that happen.
