He says, voice coming out calmly. “Punishment? You can’t do anything to me because you need me! You need-“ “Beta Mateo will be stripped off his title as the beta and his son who is the next beta in line will take over his place. He has four hours to give back everything that has been handed to him by the previous pack alpha and should move out of the south wing. Today was my father's wedding day. When I got off the plane in my princess dress, the first person I saw was a charismatic woman who stood out from the crowd. It was Brenda Sanders, who would soon be my stepmother. My father had chosen not to remarry all these years because of me. I was very happy for him when he finally met someone he liked. Everyone said that she was a renowned sculptor. Her work was beautiful and gentle, just like how she looked.

"I wanted to get you alone for a moment. I know I’m practically part of the family already, but I wanted to ask for your blessing. Formally." I blink, stunned. "My blessing?" "Yes," she says with a sincere, wide-eyed smile. "You’re the mistress of this house now. You’re Ethan’s stepmother. It’s important to me that you approve of our union. I want us to be more than just in-laws, Zora. I want us to be friends. The Reynolds wives... we have to stick together, don't we?" The guilt hits me like a physical blow to the stomach. Here she is, offering me sisterhood and respect, while I spent the last hour trying not to climax in front of her.

On the drive home, my mind drifted to Steven’s parents. Steven’s father, Rodger, was a stern man with kind eyes and he was a bank president. He had been unsure of me, but in our first conversation, I had won him over. Soon, he became like a father to me. But Steven’s mother, Stephanie, was another matter altogether. She always scrutinized: my house wasn’t clean enough, my car wasn’t a Volvo. The fact that I owned a Mercedes was irrelevant. My hair wasn’t neat enough. Looking back, I saw where Steven got his demanding demeanor from.

Ashton's POV. Stepmom? That’s a big term. I never really considered Kira, or any of Mr. Jones's numerous women, as my stepmom. I accepted the fact that I have step-siblings, whom I don’t get along with much, but stepmoms? Nah, that’s too much. She must have said those words to piss me off or to actually think of herself as my stepmom. Hilarious. Everything that happened was amusing, silly, wild, and super crazy, but no matter how hard I try to deny it, I can’t. Fucking her was the best. She’s the first woman to drive me to insanity when it comes to sex, matching my

CHAPTER 30 Thera and Stephan sat opposite Thera’s father, they both did not know what to say, the all ever chatty Thera became dumb after her father caught them in the act. “so tell me when did you start seeing each other?” Mr Robison said after they’ve all been quiet for some time, Stephan saw that his mate was in a difficult position so he had to step in and help out “emm sir, my name is Stephan, I am from…..” Mr Robison cut him short not letting him finish his statement “I know who you are, beta to the blue stream pack, what I am asking is when did you started seeing my daughter ?”

His thumb pressed against the pulse point under my jaw, feeling the frantic skip of my heart. "I am keeping what I paid for," he growled. "I spent three years playing the 'nice' stepfather. I listened to your mother’s drunken stories. I sat through your school plays. I watched you bring home boys who weren't fit to wash your car. I did it all because I knew that one day, the debt would come due. And I am a man who always collects." He leaned in, his lips brushing against my ear. The sensation sent a traitorous jolt of electricity through my body. I hated myself for the way my breath hitched.

"Stepmother? What stepmother?" "She's the woman who came with you to the parent-child competition last time! Everyone knows she's not your mom. She's your dad's girlfriend!" "Your real mom doesn't want you, and your stepmom's nothing but a mistress! How pathetic!" "Yeah! Terence, you'll be a mistress' kid soon! Hahaha, that's so lame!" In a child's world, money and family background counted for nothing. They operated under their own code. Those who didn't conform and stood apart were destined to be picked on.

Her Dad looked guilty, but her sstepmomstood firmly with not an atom of guilt in her eyes. "Calm down Stacy, we can talk this amicably." Her Dad said. "There is no need for such. Stacy, what happened has happened and the decision was final. Kelly is the new CEO and that stands! you either accept it like that or do your worst." That was her stepmom's bitter words. She always knew her stepmom wanted Kelly for the position and well, she finally got it.

She found herself immensely turned on. That’s when Veronica noticed Emily was there. She called her over to her. “Emily, my stepdaughter, I know you may be angry to find me using your pathetic little boyfriend. I know. However, understand the way you were fucking the boy just wasn’t right. He needed a mentor. You need a mentor. Let me be your mentor,” Veronica said somehow with the most seductive tone in her voice. Let me be your mentor. Emily’s pussy was weak to the sound of her stepmother’s voice. She wanted in.
