After he put the newspapers away, he went to the front door and looked through the peephole. His eyes flew wide open. Xavier! Brian had to take in series of controlled breaths before he found the courage to open the door. “It's been a while hasn't it,” Xavier said in form of greeting and officiously stepped into his apartment and settled himself on one of the sofas. Mann followed behind Xavier, not even bothering to spare a greeting. “Is… is there a problem?” Brian asked him.

Tristan laughed along with Brian as Cyrus stood back with Harris and Atticus. The large Beta watched, almost horrified when he realized how similar his best friend and his mate were. Allen asked him, as his eyes locked on the glass he was holding in his hand. “The bastard went to have some fun.” Mr. Brian said and picked up a stick of cigar from a tray. “Want one?” He asked as his hand stretched towards his friend. “No.” Mr. Allen declined politely and smiled at the lady, standing beside his friend. “Suit yourself.” Mr. Brian said and leaned back on his chair. Lighting the cigarette, he took a whiff and puffed out smoke. “I heard that she's been cheating on my son with some bastard,” he informed and had his eyes locked onto his friend.
