The Carrero Heart (series book 2)

The Carrero Heart (series book 2)

I feel so detached, like this is all some elaborate joke and I am not getting the punchline. “Non-identical twins are basically two pregnancies in one womb. You can lose one and the other lives. If they were identical like Gino and Alexi then you would have lost both, as they share a sac. Arrick was non-identical too, Sylvana carried it to around two months. Some babies are not strong enough and nature intervenes.” My mom pats my abdomen gently, a look of sadness on her face for her closest friend and gives one last push around before stopping to show me.

Mr Reluctant Billionaire

Mr Reluctant Billionaire

He killed his twin brother. "Mrs Stark?" I hear. My eyes on the doctor encourage him to keep going. Though I am the centre of attention, it feels like I'm watching everything through a glass window, afraid to confront my reality. "... Sometimes one of the twins hide behind the sibling..." The next few seconds are a blur, I give vague answers to questions I barely hear. I feel him rubbing the gel onto my skin, followed by the hand-held device which the doctor runs over my bump. A black and white picture appears on the screen, I stare at it, barely processing the twin images or the doctor's explanation. We are having twins. Babies.

Shebi una dey ment ni? Well, Maramartha you are doing well. Funny I don't read erotica but from first chapter, I got hooked. This one is different. Most erotica are just scene after scene sex but this one has a story line. A good one.

I'M HIS MATE, NOT HIS CHOICE

I'M HIS MATE, NOT HIS CHOICE

I burst out laughing too coz the look on the twins’ faces was priceless. “MOM !!!!” they screamed in horror. “We will drown her in chloroform if she tries to even enter our sacred abode !!!!” they chimed together. Did I mention the twins were not only trained warriors but were studying medicine to become specialized surgeons too ? No ? Well they were and I could tell that they would really jab shots of anaesthesia into their dear sister and flee off away from her. Haha.

The Return to Crimson Dawn

The Return to Crimson Dawn

“There are many reasons why immediate notification did not happen. It was important to Alex that Cole’s child was properly identified before any additional actions took place.” Andre sits up suddenly, cradling his son so as not to throw him to the ground. “When? When did the red stork land?” I sigh as the information given to me wasn’t easy to take in. “Melinda’s twins were born December 21st.” His mouth drops open, speechless towards the news.

Our Baby Twins

Our Baby Twins

Conversely, Matilda only chuckled softly before smiling a little, satisfied to have won this little round. The car slowed as Harry took the final turn towards the twins' prep school. Colonial-style buildings with spacious playgrounds came into view, and the sounds of children's chatter and laughter could already be heard even though we were still in the distance. I patted Matilda's shoulder gently. “It's done. You look beautiful.” “Thanks, Ma,” she replied as she checked her braids on the small screen of her tablet. Her gaze soon shifted to Theo, and she grinned. “Look, Theo, I'm even prettier than your voice.”

The Third Twin

The Third Twin

Tat-tat. It was vacant now, the insulated core of her world, and so were the rooms around it. No hiding dame; no elegant gestures ready to emphasize casually uttered Revelation. He had taken her away to be punished for her loose tongue. Yes, that’s what he had done. She had been impinging on his sport, and he had taken it unpleasantly. Her gentleman. Her brother. Whoever, whatever he was. Together, maybe just the two of them, maybe a whole army, they formed a cult, a culture around multiple births. Twins, triplets, it didn’t matter. All were welcome. Just bring a throat; or, if you were ovulating, jelly. There was always a place for you, particularly if you were . . .

From Best Friend To Fiancé

From Best Friend To Fiancé

Then everything happened at once. “Two?” I whispered. “I'm having two babies at once?” Roman’s eyes went wide with astonished delight. He looked from my belly to me and back again, laughter breaking free from him like sunlight bursting through clouds. “Twins?” he breathed. “Twins,” Dr. Morgan confirmed. “Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Blackwood.” Roman actually pumped his fist in the air before turning to me. “We’re having twins,” he said, voice full of wonder. I laughed and cried at the same time, disbelief and joy colliding in a rush so powerful it nearly left me breathless.

Be prepared that although this story is mainly romance, it’s also complex full of betrayal, wrongdoing, and lies. There are morally gray characters, themes of dark romance, lots of spice, and intense drama. I loved the chaotic and fierce love that is Roman and Savannah and glad they got their HEA :)

Claimed by his twin

Claimed by his twin

“Do you, Derrick Martins, take Nora Davis to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, for better or worse, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?” “I do,” Derrick said, voice steady as stone. Sighs swept through the crowd. Cameras clicked. Lia’s grin lit up the pew like fireworks. Then the priest faced Nora. “And do you, Nora Davis, take Derrick Martins to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love and to cherish, until death do you part?” Her lips parted, the word rising like a tide. “I—”. BOOM! The chapel doors slammed open, the sound a gunshot shattering the silence. Gasps erupted. Guests lurched to their feet, phones shaking in fear in their hands

MATED TO MY TWIN STEPBROTHERS

MATED TO MY TWIN STEPBROTHERS

Mother listed as Elena Steele, maiden name Thorne. Thorne. I knew that name. I pulled up pack histories on my dad's computer, cross-referencing bloodlines and territory records. The Thorne bloodline was old and rare, carriers of the Silver Wolf gene. I dug deeper, finding records from fifty years ago. Silver Wolves had been hunted to near-extinction. Claiming wars, forced matings, and bloodline theft. Only a handful of female Silver Wolves were left and most were in hiding.

TWO PINK LINES, ONE NIGHT STAND

TWO PINK LINES, ONE NIGHT STAND

Thump-thump. A second flicker. Next to the first. Same size. Same strength. “Twins,” Dr. Hewitt said. Looked up. Smiled wider. “Mrs. Knight, you’re having twins. Identical, from the look of it. Two heartbeats.” _Beep_. Not the machine. My watch. Then Adrian’s. Then mine again. 167 BPM. Then 180. I looked at Adrian. He was crying. Not a tear. Not a wet eye. Silent, full-body, shoulder-shaking crying. The way he didn’t cry when Marcus died. The way he didn’t cry when Alex coded in the NICU.
