As I recall the feeling of him hugging me from behind, I start to get butterflies in my stomach and my heart begins to flutter. I finish bathing, go about the normal routine, and put on a plain t-shirt and a pair of white jean shorts. I'm feeling hungry now and my stomach starts to growl. Oh, what I wouldn't do for some food right now! Just the mere thought of a hamburger brings my mouth to water. I wonder what's on the menu for dinner! If there's one thing I could get used to here, it's certainly the abundance of delicious meals! Once again, my belly lets out a grumble, only louder this time.

My stomach won't just stop rumbling, I already ate a cookie but that wasn't enough and now I am worried that Travis might hear my stomach growling. That would be very embarrassing! Now, I am starting to hate skipping meals if I will just end up stuck in the kitchen with Travis. I also lost my appetite with this cookie. My tummy is more interested in eating Travis' fried rice. "Are you not done yet?" I'm running out of patience as I ask him.

That will be even more embarrassing than anything yet. I'm not sure the time still, but I'm starting to get really hungry. My stomach keeps making noises and it's hard to ignore when I've got nothing else to do. So now all my attention has gone to my loud stomach and it's making me hungrier. Salvatore. A large stomach growl. I’m starving if that’s the right word. I haven't eaten any morsel of food and my throat was beginning to hurt from thirst. I bit my lower lip to stop the discomfort getting to my feet, unlocked the door and made my way through the long hallway.

Just a step into the house and I could feel my tummy rumbling, it felt like I was about to puke all over the place--- eating too much can do that to a person. *Grumble* the sound made from my tummy like my whole system flushed out and was ready for excretion, sweats formed on my forehead as the tummy grumbled several times, I thought how embarrassing it will be if Damon saw me like this but cared less when it got so serious.

“Did you eat today?” “Yes!” I blurted out quickly, sitting up straighter. But at that exact moment, my stomach betrayed me—with a loud, embarrassing growl. The silence that followed was humiliating. Heat rushed to my face as I pressed my hand to my belly. “That… that’s not what you think,” I muttered awkwardly. Dante’s expression darkened further. “Liar,” he growled angrily, moving closer to me. I flinched, leaning deeper into the couch. My body trembled with fear.

Was he questioning me? “How could you spout such nonsense? I said start the car this minute!” I yelled, clutching my head in pain. The throbbing in my head grew more intense, and my stomach made a series of noises from hunger. The worms in my gut were beginning to toy with my intestines.

My stomach betrayed me again. The loud growl echoed in my room, reminding me that I hadn’t eaten since morning. I had been lying on the bed crying since sunrise, and now it was almost evening. My eyes were swollen, my chest heavy, and my head ached. I wanted to keep lying there, but the hunger dragged me back. My body was weak. I pushed myself up slowly, dragging my feet to the door. I asked as I walked back to the island. "I am.." they squealed excitedly in unison. "Chris, do you know why our tummies grubble when we are hungry?" Aiden asked while I took the apron off him. It took me a minute to realize he was saying grumble. "No, tell me." As I took off their chef clothes, they told me about the digestive system and about a kids show where they learned it from, I think it was something called Dr. Ben or Benno. Something like that. I listened intently asking a few questions as they spoke, and I could tell they liked having someone to tell the new things they learned.
