He subconsciously rudely pointed his finger at Ibrahim. “The curse stone!!!” The curse stone was another term for the corrupt mana stone. The corrupt mana stone came in two colors. Black and red. Depending on the number of sacrifices and their power, the color changed accordingly.

Why she had two trays of them out, he didn't know. She pointed to one with the light blue stone. It really was quite beautiful and it spoke to him even more than the display set with the red stone. Damn, he was excited. His guy was indescribably, ridiculously awesome!

I frowned and peered around the vault, questionably. Wren was also looking around the vault curiously until her eyes landed on a light blue stone. It didn’t look like anything special and there was no labeling or markings on it. it just looked like a plain stone with a little shimmer to it. But for some reason, she seemed drawn to it. “Wren?” I asked, narrowing my eyes at her. Everyone paused their search to look at Wren who was now inches from the stone. She looked in awe as she reached her hand out to touch it. As her fingers grazed the exterior of the stone, she breathed out with a faint smile on her lips.

"This is the Resonance Stone. It's a sacred relic that's been around for over 1,000 years. It measures your level of arcane power and which realm you've reached. "All you have to do is place your palm on the symbol at its center and channel your energy. The stone will light up a different color depending on your level—yellow for Awakening, green for Foundation, blue for Core Formation, purple for Great Decator, scarlet for Arcane High Priest, and the legendary crimson Light of Ascension, which even I've never seen in my lifetime." The crowd sucked in a breath the moment he finished. A lot of the younger practitioners stared at the stone like it was everything they'd ever dreamed of.

Do you see that couple over there?" he pointed to two strange creatures with green skin and a long pink tail. "Every colour has a meaning, an emotion, for example, red represents anger, white, peace, and pink, love. "You're a terrible liar." I put my hands on my hips. "And how, exactly, is some little trinket going to keep me here?" I studied the collar. It was actually quite pretty. Several smooth bluish-green stones were placed equal-distance around the black leather strap. Each stone was surrounded with swirls of silver and mounted into the collar. "The collar is embedded with Moonstone and a silver additive, making it impossible for you to shift. You also won't have the increased strength of your Wolf nature." He stated all of those things as if they weren't devastating to me.

They look amazing, and I feel proud of all these men and women, even if they are not from my own pack.
