There were men and women, voices filled with anxiety and fear. Someone reached out to touch me. It wasn't Kael. It was a softer, warmer touch, checking my eyelids, my pulse. "The Luna is in shock, her heart rate is dropping rapidly!" "We need to stabilize her spirit immediately." "Quick, get the moonstone elixir!" "No! Her wolf is going dormant!" What happened? Were they talking about me? Is my wolf, Selene, dying? I didn't know. I only felt my eyelids getting heavier, so incredibly sleepy.

The chain was adjustable, allowing Aqua to wear the pendant at just the right length so that it rested over her heart. As she wore it, Aqua noticed the stone's clarity, reflecting her calm and balanced state of mind. Whenever she felt at peace, the pendant remained clear and pristine. However, when her emotions stirred, the pendant would change. A slight hue of blue appeared when she felt sadness, while a warm golden tone emerged during moments of happiness. If anger or fear took hold of her, the gemstone would darken, turning a deep, unsettling black.
