If I don’t find a way to make it stop bleeding soon, he’ll die. And I can’t face that. In my bag, I have an emergency sewing kit. I pull it out and tie a strap of fabric above the wound to slow the bleeding while I sew it up. It takes me a few tries to thread the needle, but I finally get it and dive into the innards of his arm, digging around until I find the bleeding vein.

It gushed out so much blood, and I knew what I had to do to help her. She watched me pull off my pajama top and roll it into a ball before I pressed it against her stomach wound. Pride blossomed in her glistening teary eyes. It always made her proud when I remembered the things she taught me. Take now, for instance. She once told me that if I encountered a person bleeding from an injury, I could help them by pressing firmly against the wound to slow the bleeding. I hoped her lessons worked in our favor today. I couldn’t lose her; she is all I’ve ever had.

He walked out, muttering about sending someone soon to bandage her up. “No, please! Come back!” But he was gone. “Audrey?” “Becca…” Audrey gulped, trying to hold on to the fire she had before. “What do I do?” “Roll over. Roll over onto your stomach. Press yourself in the floor. It should help to stop the bleeding. Tell me when you’re done.” “Done,” Audrey said after about a minute or so. “It hurts. It’s hard to breathe this way.” “I know. But we’re going to be okay. We will.”

Blood gushed from his mouth, splattering the floor. Briella froze. The sight of that much blood stunned her, but she quickly snapped out of it, grabbing her syringes and jabbing a dozen of them into his pressure points, halting the bleeding just in time. She barked, “Call a doctor!” He can’t die—not yet! Meanwhile, at the Ledger Estate. “So this is your plan?” Harvey sat behind the table, hands clasped, his expression icy. Penny trembled. “Uncle Ledger, I...”

Reya pressed convincingly, and the teacher sighed to hear the answers of his student. Arriving home from school, Reya immediately got into a taxi to go to the hospital carefully. Arriving at the hospital, the woman wore a large hoodie so that no one would suspect her whereabouts, Reya quickly entered one of the doctor's rooms. "Please sit down," said doctor Zayn telling Reya who sat down. "What brought you here?" he asked opening the conversation. "Doc, how can I stop getting nosebleeds?" she said. "Is it every day?" Zayn replied curiously, and Reya nodded.

“Jesus… why is it still bleeding!” “Alright, sit down,” she cajoled and forced him to sit in front of her. “This is nothing serious. I will just wait for a few minutes and put pressure on it to stop the bleeding. If it does not stop, you can then take me to the ER for suturing.”

Panting heavily with his eyes shining with unshed tears, he crouched to the floor and watched as his blood leaked to the well-tiled ceramic floor. “Okay if I come in, Liam,” this voice came to where he was squatting from the door. The person let himself in, it was the instructor from earlier. Sighting the topsy-turvy office, and his boss crouching on the floor. This man was confused; he wore a mixture of amusement and irritation, the muscles in his jaw twitching with both. Taking a few steps wholly into the office, he soon caught the sight of Liam’s bloodstained hand and his face grew in apprehension as he dashed to an angle in the office to grab the medical kit and then rushed up to Liam.

“I’m just here to watch.” Mara came rushing over, a big smile on her face. “Lady Evelyn, how wonderful of you to join us.” She motioned for a chair to be brought, and one of the students trotted over with one. I sat down gracefully, crossing my legs and waving a hand that indicated she should continue. "Please, go on," I interrupted. They shouldn’t stop because of me. Mara nodded and turned back to Hazel and the rest of us. “Now, like I was saying,” she started again, obviously trying to calm down the class, “when you’re covering a wound it’s important to apply some pressure first so that—”

She hovers over Alpha Lucas, pointing a light directly in the wound to see inside his abdomen, and I have to swallow to keep from losing my lunch. "The damage is too much to leave. You'll have to clamp the vein closed and put a patch on it," she says before opening and closing cubbards in the room until she finds what she is looking for. "This is a clamp. I need you to put it on the severed vein to make it stop bleeding. Put it a little higher than where it is severed at so you have room for the patch." She says the words, and I struggle to keep up with them. I nod my agreement as she shoves the clamp into my hand.
