I felt something heavy on my heart that I wasn't able to take away from here. Aunt kept saying a lot of things, but I couldn't focus now. My head was getting heavy, and I was having a hard time standing over there. 'Nothing happens by chance, by fate. You create your own fate by your actions. That's Karma.' At last, I heard everyone shouting my name when I fell down to the ground because of the unbearable pain. I smiled softly, seeing my angel's face because darkness consumed me. ***** 'Hey, wake up!' 'Wake up, you idiot human!'

James roughly understood Karma. This entire world was connected by it, so he did not turn down the group’s request. Plus, Sophie once said that he was touched by Karma. Many of the people he knew have appeared to help him share his Karma. Initially, as the group had the choice to leave, they had little Karma with James. But once they followed James on his journey, their Karma with him would magnify. James fully understood this, so he wanted the group to share his Karma.

She questioned me as she gave me her half-filled glass of water. It seemed like it because of the situation, but Hana was not teasing me. she was seriously asking about Karma. I read about it before once, on one of the forbidden books in the library. It was an eastern belief about the cycle of our action. They said that if you did a person good, you will be rewarded, but if you did a person bad, you will be punished. Hana was pertaining to that cause-and-effect belief.

"What's the problem, Shelly?" Shelly gnawed at her bottom lip thinking about how she'd ran out of her father's office scared shitless of the truth staring right at her in her face. She needed to speak to someone and right now it seemed like it was going to be him. "Do you believe in alternate universe?" Chase regarded her carefully before pulling out a chair and sat down. "I believe nothing is impossible." Shelly smiled at his cryptic reply. "Then you most certainly believe in the law of karma also."
