Every time I closed my eyes, the dreams came rushing back—forests burning, silver eyes watching me from the shadows, flames licking at my fingertips like they knew me.

At the center, the Archivist floats, her body a conduit for the void, her voice a siren song erasing warriors mid-swing. The Hunter loads his gun. "You sure?" I cock the storm-gun.
