“Come on kids! We’re getting late.” With hesitance, I looked over at Brett who refused to meet my eyes. With his head hung low, he got off the bench and walked toward his mother, without bothering to wait for me. Reluctantly, I followed him. Once I reached them, I held up the cover I was holding out to Linda. “What have you got for us, honey?” Linda asked with a smile. “Hello, Linda,” I said. “These are a few of my favourite books and some cookies. My mom used to read these out every day so I could sleep. Little Anne always gets bored and cries at night. You can read them out for her. They are very interesting stories.”

Of course, someone would guide them in reading the very simple English in which they were written. But merely gazing at the illustrations made them happy. Kids love those kinds of stories." John's face revealed a hint of bewilderment. "What are 'The Little Mermaid' and 'The Three Little Pigs'?" "You haven't heard of fairy tales?!" Diana was astonished. How could someone like John, a genius CEO who spoke eight languages fluently and became a CEO at twenty, not know about such widely known stories?! John confessed, "Never heard of them." Aria tried to apologize. She had them dressed up in their night clothes and tucked them into bed. “Mama, can you tell us a story…?” Laura coughed. “Yes, baby. Where are your story books… found it.” She stretched her hands toward the night stand. I whispered with a loving smile, "which story would you like tonight?" Mathew's face lit up with excitement, his tiny hands reaching for his favorite book. "The one about the brave little wolf, Mumma!" I chuckled as I opened the book, a captivating story about a young wolf's grand adventure. Mathew listened with rapt attention, his eager eyes fixed on the pages as I spun the tale of bravery and exploration. By the time I reached the part where the little wolf found solace under the silvery glow of the moon, my son was already fast asleep.

I sighed "I have a story to tell you." "You’re always telling me the same story." He whispered a bit audible "Not this time I won’t, it’s very interesting, I’m sure you will love it," I said while grabbing the storybook kept on the table. "This looks interesting." I opened to the first page "Once upon a time, there lived three children, Kyle, Lucas, and Charles. They are best friends, they always spend time together until…." "It’s boring." "Okay, I will narrate another story." I grabbed the other storybook and began narrating it

I blush while looking over at Raven who approaches me with a few books in hand. “What did you find?” I question while holding up a pair of shorts checking if they will fit. I smiled when I see Rebecca grabbing tank tops in colors, she knows I love. “I found a couple pregnancy books that look good, and I found this one of Viking stories it reminds me of Vaari,” Raven answers while showing me the books and I smile remembering Mummo Adaline and Vaari Jyrki always reading us stories. “They look good, thank you,” I smile while grabbing the story book and open it seeing that it looks like Mummo’s book or at least the illustrations do.

Crimson collected the book from her hand. "Your hands not reaching your ears means that you are still very young and not allowed to start reading love stories so from now you are only allowed to read books like Cinderella, frozen, Moana, Alex in the Wonderland and other Disney stories apart from that, no William Shakespeare books until your hands can reach your ears okay." Crimson said. "But why? I don't want to read that, they are so boring." Pearl pouted.
