“Oh my God… it’s alive.” Scott spotted the family’s four-wheel drive parked out front. “That’s my dad’s car. They’re still there.” On the beach, grains of sand slithered like snakes under a chair and into the sea as the boat skidded onto shore. The group disembarked quickly, gathering their weapons and gear. Larkam huddled with them as they stared at the haunted mansion. “Here’s the deal—I need to bless the entire perimeter.” Scott pointed at the towering estate. “Are you kidding? The place is massive!”

I watched her for a moment, the way her hands shook, the way she was willing to walk back. But, with an assurance. It was that same loyalty that had made me fall for her so damn badly and the same loyalty that was currently destroying us. “Fine, try to stay out of trouble.” I murmured, swerving the car into a sharp turn toward the outskirts of the city. The Petunia Mansion, the place of blood and gore. Also rumored to be haunted by the endless people who died in it. Surrounded by acres of black iron fencing and guards who were definitely soldiers, trained ruthless to be the part of Viper’s strongest Unit.

But of course, fate was cruel. There was only one empty seat left. Right next to him. I sighed in defeat and sat down. Travis passed me a cold bottle of water without a word, his fingers brushing mine. My heart stupidly skipped again. “Did you guys know,” said Axl, one of Seth’s loudmouth friends, “that there’s a haunted mansion up the hill? Locals say it’s cursed.” “Cursed like what?” Adison asked, wide-eyed. “Like… couples who go there either break up—or come back engaged,” Axl said dramatically.

They look scared that Damon was angry about what they found out. “Hi, are you sure that there was a mansion in the middle part of this land?” The man nodded, and he looked one hundred percent sure of what he was telling to his friend. “Alpha Leah, this mansion looks like it doesn't exist because it exists when it was midnight. Our ancestors know about it, even Alpha Giovanni's grandparents. “But, how did the late Alpha know about this?” I can't stop myself from asking again, we need to find Amoux as soon as possible.

Winter 14, 1861 There's something about this mansion. There's someone with me. In. Whole. Accursed. Place! I hate not being alone, I'm going to find out who you are! Winter 15, 1861 I spent the whole night hiding in the halls of the mansion, but I couldn't find anyone. No one at all! I still want to understand the rule grandma created so the employees could get out of here after dinner! I have to prepare my own food! That's absurd!

But now, she is trying to be braver in front of Aiden because she has been determined to become an independent girl. “The scenery here is really nice, you really have a good sense of home.” “This used to be an old building that burned down in ninety-seven. No one dares to buy this land because they think this land is haunted. So I can get this land for a cheap price.” "You mean this place is haunted?" asked Calistha shuddering in horror. Bad thoughts about Aiden's dimly lit kitchen or the door to her room that sometimes creaked softly at night made Calistha feel the hairs on her neck start to stand up.

There were many dead like her whose death can easily figure out by just one look. The pretty girl was stunned to see me and Lucas. When she saw Lucas, her appearance turned shy. "They left at dawn to look for the information about the 'door to the afterlife,'" Then the pretty girl's eyes brightened when she remembered something, "You are the person who went with Carl that day, right? You witness the whole thing, right?" Since the haunted mansion was the origin of the rumors, they were closely near the truth. Unlike other bases who had mixed other stories to the real information.

Her eyes were pleading but Caddaric was only filled with acrimony. He didn’t say a word, taking her into the dusty deserted mansion. “It’s haunted. Don’t leave me here please,” Angelina begged, as she skimmed at the bushes around. There was no electricity and she was also sure that there wasn’t water. Cobwebs and dust covered everything within eyes level when they entered and the doors screeched. Angelina realized that she should have stayed and died in her luxury house instead of a place like this and was determined to beg Caddaric to just let her go. She was sure that if she survived, she’d never get close to her children again.

They locked Hein up inside the mansion like it was a cell. After they left, Hein shouted like crazy. She made a mess to ease her anger. She made a phone call promptly after they left. Little did she know, someone was just watching her. Amaya didn't go to the crime scene yet to collect the dead soul. She was planning to double the enchantment the mansion had to lock Hein. But while processing... she ends up eavesdropping on Hein and someone on the phone's conversation. "I'm sorry, I think it will take a whole month before I get to escape from this haunted mansion. We should film this suspicious house once I find out the evidence. I'm sure they're just hiding the other soul I'm with that day."

Uncle Millie suddenly exclaimed— trying to lighten the mood. "Shhhsshhh!!!" Everyone hushed down Millie and he kept quiet in shame. "He went further to say that ever since the day he had killed his wife; your Great grandmother, her ghost never stopped to haunt him and the mansion and everyone else who lived in it. She wants revenge and she wanted him dead just as he had killed her. And on every fiftieth year, she would come to haunt the mansion and everyone in it!" "So today makes it another fifty years!" William nodded.
