Those books were older than any of the others in his office. The bottom shelf (the one he’d been searching when he’d first heard the cats playing in the hall) held his collection of horror anthologies. The famed Whispers series, edited by Stuart David Schiff, featuring the varied works of Ramsey Campbell, Stephen King, Charles Grant and so many others. The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror from England. The Shivers series, published by Cemetery Dance. Masques, Borderlands, Shadows, Stalkers, Dark Forces, October Dreams I & II, Corpse Blossoms, Horror Library Volumes 1-5, and Prime Evil. Classic horror anthologies jammed next to paperback collections of slightly lesser repute with titles to mat

Sparkle of life.

She can't risk her family's safety when those monsters are free. It was late at night when sleep was far away from her and the whole house felt like a haunted house. All the lights of the house were on but still she felt like ghost were waiting outside her room just for her to open the door so they can kill her. I have to say, this is an excellent read, right from the first chapter it just grasps you. I know it isn't comedy but the choice of words just had me giggling. I just know it's about to get intense. If you're wandering whether to read it or not, take it from me, you must! You won't regret it!

I love the dark part of this story. It's touchy and realistic. Even though I just read the first chapter, I felt every meaningful touch and idea the author wanted to pass through. I'm so impressed and I definitely love this. Keep it up, writer.

Shadow Love Book One

Shadow Love Book One

It wasn’t clear, but she knew there was something beneath the story that needed to come to the surface before she could relax and trust him. Cold air rushed past her as she stood up to leave the overly furnished, run down bedroom. She shuddered and remembered how she used to believe the house was haunted. She even thought she’d seen a ghost or two while growing up. Now that she was older, she no longer thought that it was haunted. Not by ghosts, anyway. If it was haunted at all, it was by the memory imprints that come from lives being led within its walls for several centuries.

Demon's Evolution

Henry had developed a habit of reading novels, particularly fantasy stories. He was currently reading "The Great Heroes Adventures." As he turned the page, he felt a chill run up his spine. He hurriedly returned to the previous page and waited for the sensation to pass. It didn't take long at all. "I'm sorry," he mumbled. The ghost who haunted this shop wasn't always as quick to read as he was.

DON'T MESS WITH THE HEIRESS

DON'T MESS WITH THE HEIRESS

I felt the house creaking around me the Ghost of the Vane Estate making noise in the study for the time in my life I was not afraid. The Ledger of Blood and Vines was becoming something it was becoming a story of how a fortress becomes a farm. It was a process one that would likely involve ghosts and sharper blades than I wanted to admit but as the sun finally went below the horizon I felt a peace that no bank account could ever give me. I closed the book held it to my chest the Tower of Glass was falling, just as Sarah said. As I sat in the gathering dark listening for the sound of Stephens truck or the wind, in the olives I realized that I was not waiting for the end.

The House of Ash and Guilt

The House of Ash and Guilt

Forgiven. My ghost hovered in that ice-cold courtyard, nearly frozen through. On New Year's Eve, fireworks cracked and boomed outside, painting the night sky in bursts of blinding gold and various colors. From the manor windows, the display was spectacular. But inside, the holiday dinner was a tomb—silent and stagnant. Father sat at the head of the table. Before him were two place settings. One was for Matthew.

The League of Rogues

Zehra turned the last page of the novel she'd found in Lawrence's bedchamber earlier that day. It had been so wonderful to find an engaging read. She had read some English novels before, but never these "Gothic" ones, as Lawrence had called them, for they were rare in Shiraz, the area where she was from. The adventures of Lady Isabelle had distracted her from her loneliness for a time, but when she heard the click of the door opening her heart leapt.

HOUSE OF WITCHES

HOUSE OF WITCHES

“Well, my research told me about supernatural creatures that inhabited Weston Hills fifteen to thirty years ago.” “What are these creatures?” Chloe asked. “Witches and a whole lot of things.” “And you think they are responsible for the disappearance of Hagen.” Claus said trying to understand her point. “I don't know but I think so.” “Perhaps, Mr. Hagen wanted to leave Weston Hills quietly.” Hayley added. “Or maybe he was killed by a vampire.” Claus mocked. “I don't think so because you said that these creatures existed fifteen to thirty years ago.” A deep male voice came from behind the classroom. They all turned and their gaze met Marcus who was scribbling some notes on his book. He didn't
