Sally’s POV: Various scenes from my life played behind my eyes like a movie. Deep down I could hear an annoying persistent noise, but I couldn’t place where it was from. The air around me felt cold and had a strange smell in the air. What was it? My brain was too muddled to figure it out. The first scene was an office. I recognized it, the office of Mr Stanford, the owner of the dance trope I was a member of before I joined Unicorn. He smiled at me, his eyes leering and practically undressing me where I stood.

"After revenge? After the blood? What do we do next?" I leaned in. "We get married and build something no one can touch, you will stand beside me as my queen, my partner, my equal and anyone who so much as looks at you the wrong way… I will bury them alive." She smiled, cheeks flushing. "You always know what to say." "Yes, and I always mean every word." Then the music shifted, smooth, sultry, and intoxicating... Sally rose slowly from her chair, eyes glittering with mischief. "Well, dinner went smoothly this time." She said with a soft smirk. "I think it’s time I spiced things up."

When they arrived at the dining room, there was no one there and the table was set for one. “Where is everybody?” She asked, looking around only to find three men who were dressed exactly like the one that came to call her. One was serving the table and the others stood at the far end of the room. “Boss and the others are out for an emergency business.” He said, pulling out to the chair for her. Joan eyed the food suspiciously. “So who's going to taste the food before I eat?” She asked, only realizing after the utterance that she had spoken out loud and not in her mind as she wanted to.

I can't believe I even failed to die like I failed everything. After eating the food, I looked out the window. There was a beautiful garden, and a man was sitting on the bench, his back facing me. I wanted to see his face, and like my wish was granted, he looked up, but his look was cold and his eyes were black. I became afraid but couldn't move, and then suddenly something came to me. I hurriedly went towards the bed. Why were his eyes black? Is he some kind of devil? Holly Molly, I am not in heaven. I am in hell. I rushed towards the front of the mirror, afraid I had black eyes too, but nope, I didn't.
