That Stranger Lying Beside Me

That Stranger Lying Beside Me

Angel lazily leaned on the sofa and watched TV in the apartment after dinner. Madelyn washed the strawberries for her and brought them over. "Miss, these strawberries are very fresh. Try it." Angel picked up a strawberry lazily and bit its tip. She frowned and asked, "Why is this strawberry so sour?"

Star Dust

Star Dust

Traveling across the universe basically as dust riding on a comet or meteorite, the seeds lost the ability to enjoy it. She didn’t. She loved being in the water. It could calm her down almost as fast as looking at the stars. She didn’t know why it made her seem even more different to people, though. She had accepted her fate that she was a seed, and she had also accepted that she was a human at the same time. Two different things that melded together and formed her.

She then smelled her hand and she smelled strawberry, Rhea's face went mad. "Did you throw the strawberries?" she asked. Ivanna nodded softly. "You, bitch." Rhea said and started to walk near her. Luckily Zeke and Ivy were at the door.

Below the cupcakes, there were some bottles of strawberry crush. As he kept digging further, he discovered many some flavored treats like wafers, pocky sticks, candies, and much more. The last thing he pulled out was a fluffy strawberry shaped pillow. it had a winking expression and pouty lips. He turned it around to find a sticky note which read, "I'm sorry" in tiny handwriting.

Longing Hearts (Book 1 of Precious series)

Longing Hearts (Book 1 of Precious series)

Funny how love makes people see things differently, he thought as he glanced at Rain who was obviously mesmerized by Ami. “Rainaldo, quit staring! Let’s go. Mansour was already by her side whistling a tune. They enjoyed walking picking stray berries now and there. When they came upon a shrub with fruits that look like strawberries, Ami picked one and offered it to Mansour. Mansour was intrigued and bit into it only to discover the inside as hollow. “We call it wild strawberry because it looks like a strawberry.” They continued walking until Ami’s stomach rumble stopped them, they all laughed.

I stopped as she picked up a strawberry. “I've never seen this before. It's not native to Mazifik, is it?” She asked, prying the berry opened with her fingers. “I wish I could taste it- Drawback of being dead.” She offered me the fruit. “Don't be paranoid, Violet. Not every test is one made to kill you.”

The Cold Prince's Frozen Omega

The Cold Prince's Frozen Omega

Having been in the army for so many months, fresh food of any description was scarce. He spent a few moments just savoring the sweet crispness of the apple slice before eagerly reaching for another. He ignored the amused look the young man shot him and chose a pinkish coloured fruit off the tray. He groaned even louder in pleasure at the juicy sweetness that assaulted his taste buds. “What is that?!” “A strawberry,” the amused beta answered. “What about that one?” Kari pointed to a fleshy looking, orange coloured slice. “Mango.” He let out another moan of pleasure at the taste of the mango.

My previous review had a major mistake in it. I meant to say the plot WAS Great, not wasn't. I absolutely loved everything about this book! It was very well written, the plot was amazing! The characters I fell in love with. This is definitely my favorite book, hands down!

Amazing story. This is one of the books that I am coming and read over and over again. The storyline and characters are captivating to the point you are so drawn into that you want more and more. Bravo. Honestly I didn't want the book to have a end.

Contracted to My Ex's Cold Brother

"See this strawberry? This is the alien spaceship. If you don't use your waffle-shield to capture it right now, it’s going to fly straight into outer space. You gotta move fast." Leo giggled, and immediately stabbed the fruit with his fork. "Captured! The galaxy is safe now!" "Good job, captain," I laughed, wiping a stray drop of syrup from his chin with a napkin. "But the mission isn't over. The waffle-shield needs to be fully consumed to recharge its energy core, or the alien fleet wins the next round." "On it!" He enthusiastically took a massive bite of his breakfast, smiling ear to ear. I smiled, turning back to my own coffee, only to catch a pair of eyes on me.

The True Luna's Mark

It went down easily, and I didn’t feel different. “Do you like it?” Alpha Nick seemed to know the answer already before I gave him one. “It is delicious. What is it?” I pulled the glass from my mouth and looked at the dark liquid. “Slow gin mixed with artificial strawberry sweetener.” I paused when he said strawberries. “So, there aren’t any real strawberries?” “No. It only tastes like it. Why?” He frowned. “She is allergic.” Axel responded, and my eyes widened in surprise at what he knew.

I am so in love with this book! The story is very well written and the characters are highly developed. What I have been enjoying the most about this story, is for everything that is happened Stormie, she still continues to survive, grow, be independent, finds her weaknesses and strengthens them.
