“Yes, come in.” The woman entered, fidgeting with her fingers. “From now on, there will be no strolls in the garden, no playing outside, and no leaving the house for Geoffrey. Do I make myself clear, Lady Green?”
“Yes, Your Grace.”
“Two Guards will be assigned to accompany him at all times,” she announced, more to Victor than to the governess. He nodded in understanding.
“Yes, Your Grace,” the woman repeated.
“Thank you, Lady Green. You may leave now.” The woman bowed before hurrying out of the office.
