She dropped her head immediately, entirely unwilling to look up into his dangerous eyes, and silently prayed that he would just leave her alone. I shout, trying to grab her but she's too fast. Suddenly, she stops only inches away from Lucifer's face, capturing him immobile with her stare. Impossibly, a laser blue light emits from her eyes straight into his. Lucifer's face contorts in agony, his skull showing through the skin, body violently convulsing. I watch in horror, frantically reaching behind for something, anything to steady myself.
