Daniel’s Pov I opened my eyes slowly but it seemed there were a few particles inside and all I could feel was severe pains in my eyes. But despite that, I forced my eyes open and I realized I was in a place I was in an unfamiliar environment. The last thing I remember was when I held Rayner by the neck and her driver had a gun pointed at me. ~Merina Pov~ My eyes cracked open when I felt wetness on my face. My eyes were blurry at first but then it became clear as the sun shined on my face making me feel alive. My mind was blank as I kept looking at the sun that peaked out of the window, and then everything came rushing in. My eyes snapped open and now everything was clear to me. I looked around the room and then my eyes met a familiar dark deep one. I locked eyes with him for a while then opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out.

As he pressed the cloth against my nose, a sickly sweet scent invaded my senses. My struggles became feeble, my eyelids growing heavy as the tranquillizer coursed through my veins. My fight against the encroaching darkness became a futile battle. The world around me blurred, my consciousness slipping away into an abyss of uncertainty.
