Don’t let him rule you.” He made her a promise of affirmation before rushing over to the broken angel, taking her into his arms and declaring his love and life to her. She too, had a red string hanging down from her finger, and when she took his hand the two strings came together, binding them as one before disappearing in a flash of brilliant light. Tears pricked my eyes when he spoke of the red string. The red string of fate: soul mates. Destined lovers regardless of time, place, or circumstance.

"Then I will gift this soul a chance; a single chance to rewrite her cruel destiny. If she still pursues the life given by fate, then she will still become a vengeful soul with no chance for reincarnation." Selene opened her left palm. On cue, a beaten red string appeared. The red string was worn out with snapped sides as if someone—or something—tore its other half on purpose; it was a red string that belonged to someone whose other half had long died. "Selene, what are you doing? You know that we cannot do this. It will be against the laws of the Heavens." Remus reached out for Selene's hand but stopped midway upon seeing the tear-stricken silver eyes of his wife.

" You know what it is?" I just looked at his dazzling eyes, I don't know what it was for. " What's with red strings?" He tied it first to his pinky fingers after he tied it to himself, he got mine and he started to tie it. " It is the Red​ String of Fate, if we die soon. You and I will meet again in our next life" He beamed a smile and I just got teary eyed. After Articus kissed me, someone's force opened the door. We heard a crash downstairs and I started to tighten my hug to Articus. We tried to don't make any noise but we heard the footsteps it's going upstairs.

The idea of the Fates was borrowed but has a change in name for the characters. The Moirae, or Fates, are three old women who are charged with the destinies of all living beings, including heroes and heroines, and these destinies were represented by a string. They were called FATE A, FATE B and FATE C. FATE A would spin the string that represented the life of a living being; FATE B would measure its length to determine the length of that being's life, and FATE C, the eldest, would cut it when the time was right, thus ending with that being's life.

He attempted to step away from it, but he couldn't because it kept on following him. Then I remembered what I had seen at the garden's entrance before we entered. Debitus constitutus promissio(Debt Establishment, promise.) It was written in block letters and a language I didn't know I could comprehend until now. No one was able to read it, not even Maya. Aiden had vowed, and he wouldn't escape from it until he fulfilled his wish or until he was dead. He clasped the sword, and his eyes bored into mine. “I'm sorry,” He muttered.

"Each thread represents a choice, a moment of destiny. You must follow the threads that resonate with your hearts and lead you to the Harmonic Shard." The heroes stepped forward, their fingers brushing against the threads as they followed their intuition. Each thread revealed glimpses of lives intertwined, decisions made, and the consequences that followed. They navigated the intricate web, their hearts guiding them through the labyrinth of fate.

Breathing with sighs of relief, grabbing the basket, we hurriedly making our way back to the gong where our starting point with no thick crimson grasses waits.

He wants me to experience this event, raw and first hand. Up until this moment, the string of destiny has been a mere lore to me. But a lore I believed devotedly so. The thread of fate represents the cord that the Moon Goddess uses to tie fated mates so that they may find their paths to each other, regardless of time, location, social status, and situations in life. Tears continue to fall as I feel the mating cord finally tie and bind me to my mate. As the mating thread tethers Cillian and me to a lifelong bond as fated mates, our past memories entwine acting like a bridge to each other’s soul. Bonded as one.
