When I finished, she clapped her hands, her eyes wide with amazement.
“What a nice story!” Trisha exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with a mix of amusement and admiration. She continued clapping, her enthusiasm infectious.
“Stop clapping! You look insane!” I laughed, trying to stop her, but she was already lost in her own world, her hands still clapping rhythmically.
