Novelas y relatos de Submitting

GREEN’S POV. The steady ticking of the grandfather clock echoed through my office with unnatural sharpness. Four fifty-five. Only five minutes remained before the submission deadline for the research manuscripts and Elite Combat Squad selection. I sat motionless behind my desk while stacks of completed assignments rested beside me in uneven piles. Nearly every ambitious Alpha and Beta student in the university had already submitted theirs hours earlier, eager to secure a position inside the Elite Squad before selections closed. But my attention remained fixed entirely on the office door.

"Never mind. I'm not hungry." Then, to my utter astonishment, he turned and walked away without another word. I blinked. What? Mateo hadn't troubled me for the past two days, and now this? This wasn't like him. I shrugged it off and finished warming up the pizzle before setting the plate in front of . As I turned to walk away, his voice stopped me. “I am gonna celebrating my mating ceremony this weekend” "I knew this day would come. But I still froze for a moment."

"We're expected home before noon." I spare a glance at my Ardie-Malone wristwatch and smile because I'm certain that won't even be possible. "Of course," Kedar replies and put his stupid ass in a chair. Salzar stands up; he picks up a sheet of paper from the big desk in the room and hands it over to his grandson. "You can proceed with the rejection. Everything required is here: two witnesses, but you have more than that, so it's clear. I believe Miss. Hamilton is ready to accept once you're done?" He turns to me and I give him a curt nod.

There were a few murmurs in the crowd just before Evelynn asked, “When do we submit?” “Today, by close of business,” Anna replied. “That’s like three hours from now,” “Can’t we have it submitted tomorrow?” “Do we have to provide some certain things?” The whole question poured out from the group, making Anna smile more. “Thank you for coming,” Anna said and returned to her seat. “Okay everyone, over here, take a file, and you can go,” Nat instructed. As they all left the room, Clayton turned to Anna and asked, “Are you really serious about them submitting that in three hours?”

The cold stone beneath me offered no comfort, only a reminder of my helplessness. I wasn’t sure how long I sat there, staring at the untouched plate but when boots clicked against the stone floor, slow, deliberate steps. I forced my head up, my vision swimming, and found myself staring at the werewolves that had come this time. The so called Alpha wasn't with them. "She has still refused to eat the meat beta Henry", One of them murmured. Beta Henry glanced at the plate and let out a low whistle. "She really has pride but Alpha Idris is going to break her until she submits", They murmured to themselves.

I steadied myself on the bed as Marcus climbed over me slowly. “Ah…” I whimpered as he attacked me with hungry kisses, his fingers slipping down between my thighs again, the other hand squeezing my breast. He sucked at my neck, determined to leave a mark, then moved lower, biting gently along my chest before sucking harder. My back arched helplessly as his fingers pumped inside me, faster and faster. “I feel like I’m going to pee,” I whimpered weakly. Marcus smirked against my cheek. “Hold it back… wait…”

They express their gratitude for my participation and mention that they received Diane’s work on time. But what stops me cold is the reason they give for rejecting mine: they never received my submission. “What?” I whisper, my voice sounding hollow in the quiet of my room. My mind races as I reread the email, hoping that I’ve somehow misinterpreted it. But the words don’t change. They never received my submission. I know that’s impossible. I handed the USB to Diane myself. She offered to give it to the Rita. How could it not have been turned in? My insides tighten as I try to run the numbers on what to do exactly.

I could just see us at the doctor’s office. “But I only forgot to take my pill one time!” Shoot! I had to tell Sebastian, and soon. When I got back to our room, he wasn’t there. So, I mind linked him and he was at the hardware store getting the stuff he needed to build Elana’s room. I couldn’t tell him over our mind link. That was like breaking up with someone over a text. No, I had to tell him this news when it was just the two of us and we were face-to-face. It didn’t take long for him to get back and by the time he got back, I had worked myself up so much, he noticed something was up immediately. I sent the omegas out of the room and took a deep breath before it just blurted out of me!

"Whatever, old man. So now that I'm here, mind telling me what the heck is going on?" "I thought I elucidated myself in the text I sent you." Sasha rolled her eyes. "Oh, because that was so helpful. The one you sent this morning was, ÔKilled unknown fledgling. Acquired two wolves. Need clothing for female and male. Bring ASAP.'" "You know how I dislike relaying too much via text. Anyone can read them." "I know, oh paranoid one. Big brother is watching, blah, blah, blah. But seriously, how do you expect me to figure shit out? I mean, look at the one you sent after you got up. ÔGhoul attack. Need book and weapons.'"

I quickly logged in when the clock hit 12 PM. Filling out the first step required my personal information like; my name, phone number, and email address. I finished that and headed to the next step which was also the last step. It requested to fill in my work experience, skills, awards and honor, education, and lastly References. I finished inputting all my details in less than ten minutes, moving my cursor to tap the submit button which was in the bottom right corner Of the screen. "Done" I shouted after completing everything and seeing the notification which popped in "Submitted" which was boldly written on my screen. I breathed out a sigh of relief after everything.
