A plain, tiny mouse with twitching whiskers. ‎ ‎I blinked, then let out a sharp laugh. “You too, huh? Got trapped in here with me?” ‎ ‎The mouse sat up on its hind legs and… chuckled. “Trapped? Oh no. I’m not trapped at all.” ‎ ‎I froze again. My brain scrambled to catch up. “Did… did you just talk?”

"Likely? It's 100%, absolutely certain. I'm a contestant who will advance to the seventh round!" Just as he finished speaking, the lab mouse in front of him suddenly whimpered, collapsed on the table, and began convulsing violently. Then, blood seeped out from beneath it as the mouse let out an extremely painful squeal. After that, its limbs stiffened, and it died on the table with its belly facing upward.
