Sometimes, I felt suicidal due to depression until I met Arianna. Now this luxury room of mine consists of cool stuff like a relaxation chair. A yoga mat, a golden shelf full of my favorite romance books, a hanging camp chair that dangled from the ceiling, a music system etc. there were a lot of things I had stocked inside the room and if I started to mention them, I might end up using the entire day. "We are going live in one, two, three....," the cameraman of our agency announced, indicating with his thumb that we were fully live.

It had a nice walk-in closet and positioned between the bathroom and Maverick's room. There was a lock, which didn’t look too difficult to break into, but knowing we’d have to pay a deposit for any damages made me think Maverick wouldn’t try anything. Taren's POV The shooting room was on the second floor, exactly where Mateo said it would be. It was longer than I expected, with bare concrete walls and a low ceiling. The smell hit me the moment I walked in. Gun oil, spent powder, and the faint metallic edge that clings to a room where weapons are used regularly, and the windows stay shut. Strip lights ran the full length of the ceiling. At the far end, a track system held paper targets, motorised and set to move on a timer.
