Mike hopped out and got into the empty SUV, he honked and waved out his window and started driving towards Hope Falls. Thomas got out of the drivers seat and got in with Heather and Shelley. Jax took over driving as Sara moved into the front. “Lets go home.”

' Sammy thought, directing misplaced anger at the dead girl. "The worst thing is, I'm upset, but all I can think about is kissing you," Mike admitted, turning to face Sammy. "And now it feels like I'm using her death to guilt you into kissing me. I suck." "You don't suck," Sammy soothed him. After a short pause, Mike looked up at him sheepishly. "I could suck," he offered. Despite the dour situation, Sammy laughed and punched him in the side. "Pervert!" Without asking or giving any indication Mike pulled him in for a kiss. The pair sat on the bed, joined at the lips for the next ten minutes, occasionally stopping for air.

Like something unfinished got left behind out there. The dust from the tires barely settles before Mike folds his arms and looks directly at Aiden. "Well," he says casually, "congratulations." Aiden narrows his eyes slightly. "On what?" Mike grins slowly. "Oh, you'll figure it out." Aiden exhales through his nose. "You're enjoying this way too much." "Absolutely." Mike steps closer, lowering his voice just enough to make it personal. "You have no idea what you just signed up for."
