Novel & Cerita Summertime Poem

Summer Love. I didn't think the summer part mattered. Sure we did fall in love during the summer. That doesn't mean I didn't expect it to last past that. It didn't matter to me that he was Nathan Kalis's school-bad boy. To me, he was just Nathan. The man couldn't go more than ten minutes before demanding a kiss. Who always wanted me to cuddle into him. And who loved listening to me read my books out loud.

The heat wave continues, and so do we—stolen afternoons, midnight swims, bodies tangled under the stars. Endless summer, endless us.

She wrote of the things people didn’t say, the secrets they carried, and the truths that were waiting, patient and unyielding. The cicadas hummed their constant rhythm outside, a steady heartbeat against the quiet. Gemma closed her eyes for a moment, letting the sounds and memories swirl around her. The night was infinite, holding everything—past mistakes, future possibilities, and the fragile, fleeting joy of summer—within its warm, enveloping darkness. A breeze moved through the open window, carrying the scent of grass, sun-warmed wood, and faint laughter. Gemma let herself inhale deeply, savoring the moment, the delicate tension, the infinite possibilities.

"This is the 19th time, Summer. There's no way you didn't do it on purpose." Summer giggled again. "That's because I like doing this, Mama. I'm like a bird with wings." While Emily laughed heartily, the door behind her opened. Seeing who came, Summer squealed happily, "Uncle Cayden! Look what I'm wearing! Isn't this shirt really cool?" Summer stood on a chair and spread her arms. Now she looked like a scarecrow. Cayden chuckled at that. "Wow, you're really cool. Wait a minute. Isn't it the shirt Louis and I advertised?"

After Summer was sure that Kristen was asleep, she quietly snuck out from the employee entrance with her crayfish. It was already past 11:00 pm. Summer called Edwin over and headed straight to her apartment. Midsummer nights were often described as breathtaking in poetry. In the car, Summer watched as the streetlights flickered across the window. The lush greenery that lined the roads was full of beautiful flowers, and there were plenty of vibrant flowers that peeked out from the residential fences as well. Everything felt so full of life even if it was in the dead of the night. However, just as they were about to reach the apartment, the weather took a turn for the worse. It seemed like it

The day was very cool. The happy sun is shining. The fields are green and gay, But my poor heart is pining For something far away. It’s pining just for you, It’s pining for thy kiss. It does not matter if you’re true. To this, What matters is just you. I know the sea is beaming. Under the summer sun. I know the waves are gleaming, Each one and everyone. But I am far from you. And that`s all I get that’s really true. In this, What matters is just you. Oh, yes, the sky is splendid, So blue as it now, The air and light are blended, Oh yes, hot, anyhow.

It is a punishment to go out during the hot summer. The mercury is at its peak during the summer. Heat is unbearable even during the early hours of the day. As the mercury ascends, there is a temperature rise. All living beings find it difficult to bear the scorching heat. Life is very uncomfortable during this time. The early hour of the day is pleasant, particularly when the sun is about to appear. It is cool and calm. Cold wind blows. But with the rise of the sun, the mood of the day seems to be changing. Heat is felt during the hour. As the sun ascends, the plants also begin to feel the severity of the day. Their teases fall. They appear dull. Even the flowers which have bloomed soon los

It always feels like this small town of mine knows when it’s about to be the first day of summer, and I can't help but wonder, what now? What is next? Hhhph?... Watercolor loves adventure. children on bikes with ice cream dripping from their palms? New lovers and summer flings, kissing behind abandoned storage units and big, thousand-year-old rocks on the beach? Lost shoes after midnight benders and candy flipping, innocence washed away with the waves, never to be retrieved again...the list can go on for days, seventy-seven days to be exact. Maybe...just maybe. I wonder what this summer is going to be like with a killer on the loose.

'Holiday Ohh, Holiday, and the best one of the years dozing off underneath my sheets, while I cover both my ears. But if I wait for that holiday, could it stop my fears? To go away on a summer's day, never seemed so clear.' ~ Vampier Weekend

"Hmmm. This tastes like the end of summer." She rose up to meet me, "In two weeks, we shall bid summer farewell to welcome winter and her blasting winds." I took another bite of the bread, picking a strawberry in the other hand. "I'll miss summer. It's my favorite time of the year." I stretched my hand to the open window, dramatizing. "Oh summer, my sweet sweet summer."
