Hate Should Be A Hockey Term

Hate Should Be A Hockey Term

“I’ll go. But only because you’ve suffered enough bad decisions in your life. And maybe because watching your perfect new family implode up close will be excellent writing material.” He paused at the door. “Thank you.” “Don’t thank me yet.” I stared at the ceiling after he left, the I*******m feed still burned into my brain. Chase Hartley’s smirk. Those stupid perfect abs. The way girls threw themselves at him like he was the last lifeboat on the Titanic. I muttered to the empty room, “This summer is going to be a disaster.” And deep down, a tiny, traitorous part of me was already curious how big of a disaster it might be.

Playing Hard To Get

Playing Hard To Get

And as we toasted in the middle of the chaos, laughter echoing through the house, Dad rolled his eyes and mumbled, “Lord, help me. I’m gonna need stronger beer.” But there was a smile hiding under his gruff tone. And somehow, between the madness, the mortification, and the mess of leftover ribs, I realized something… This was home. Loud. Wild. Slightly traumatic. But full of love. And Jaxon? He was right where he belonged in the middle of it. So was I. Chapter 117 – What Happens Now Harper’s POV June first. The official start of summer. The season of bare feet, mosquito bites, and iced tea that sweats

The Alpha's Golden-eyed Seer

The email was written in usual formal tone, but it seemed to have been written in a hurry. Dorian closed the laptop with more force than necessary and stood up. He picked up his phone from the nightstand and scowled at the number of missed calls and messages he had received from Kyle and Viviane. He scrolls to Summer’s number and taps on the call button before he can backtrack. ~~~~~~ Summer did not feel like leaving her bed. Yesterday, yet another truth unfolded in front of her. A Perfect Summer

A Perfect Summer

"The smart watch is going to break before the agreement period is even up." "Theo may think he got a new smart watch, but he just got himself a smart pager instead. Poor little thing." … Time passed after that, and soon, it was Theo's summer break. I was just discussing the company's development plans with Austin for the next five years when I suddenly caught sight of the comments once again becoming active. "Damn! I've been paying so much attention to the villains' daily life that I forget we're almost at a crucial point in the main plot!"

In The Summer, Where Cicadas Buzz

In The Summer, Where Cicadas Buzz

I looked up, and under the shade of the trees, he stood quietly—tall and composed—but his face was hidden in shadow. It was summer, and the cicadas buzzed noisily in the background. It suddenly brought me back to the end of the video I had seen in the theater. He had been sitting there, hands clenched tightly together, saying, “Sadie, I want you to be happy.” Even now, I couldn’t forget those words. So, I answered him, “Because someone wants me to be happy.”

An Unexpected Summer

An Unexpected Summer

she replies, smiling. Oh, wow, that went better than I thought it would, “Promise? You aren’t just saying that?” I question, “Promise. We are on the same page.” She answers. I instantly relaxed, knowing we were thinking the same, for now, but there was a chance my recent thoughts would reappear, but I will just continue to fight them for the rest of our time because after the summer, we go back to our lives and possibly not see each other. “What do you want to do today?” I ask, “Or do you want to write some more?” I added.

Where The Summer Wind Blows (book One)

Where The Summer Wind Blows (book One)

We grab our sodas, and as we step back onto the boardwalk, the sun dipping lower behind the horizon, I can’t help but think that summer is just beginning—and I have no idea what it’s going to bring. But one thing is certain. Gavin hasn’t stopped affecting me, and Eben… Eben is just as dangerously magnetic as ever. Summer has a way of changing everything. The sun dips lower, casting the pier in molten gold, the waves lapping rhythmically below. Josh and Gemma are still splashing around, and I’m walking beside Gavin, surfboard tucked under his arm. The quiet between us feels loaded, and I’m just about to break it when Eben’s voice cuts through.

TWO PINK LINES, ONE NIGHT STAND

“What happened then?” “Then,” I said. Lying down next to him. Next to Ivy’s crib. Next to Isla’s crib. “Then monsters came back. But we beat them. And we came home. And now it’s Day 7. And we’re writing Chapter 58.” “Is Chapter 58 good,” Alex asked. Yawning. “Chapter 58 is first steps,” Adrian said. “And school buses. And dogs. And donuts. And coming home. So yeah, buddy. Chapter 58 is good.”

Skeletons Of The Marital Closet

Skeletons Of The Marital Closet

He rushed over and shouted, "Come help. Give me a hand. I can't hold Shawn back alone!" Summer stood there, dumbfounded, looking at where Gale jumped off, not blinking. When she rushed over in a huff, she happened to witness Gale jumping down. That scene was etched into her bones! Hearing Joe's voice, Summer finally snapped back to reality. She suddenly shot forward, holding the railing as she shouted, "Gale! Gale!" How could there be any response? Summer's legs went numb as she collapsed on the ground. She was stunned. She clenched her teeth and climbed over to Shawn, shouting angrily, "You've finally forced her to do this! Are you satisfied?! Are you happy now?!"

It's a good book. But it's too slow burn. So many chapters and still ongoing.... I wish for authornim to find conclusion to end this book. Hopefully a HE together for Shawn and Gale with their twins.

If you haven’t started this book yet, so don’t start at all. I am not saying is bad but it’s so slow and boring. The writer starts perfectly and sadly drag it around a year!!! It hasn’t finished yet. You can skip several chapters with no concern because nothing special is happening.
