Sunset Shimmer Rainbow Rocks Novels & Stories

But that only made her trip as dozens more arrive with every step she took. Large golden crystalline rocks that glowed a bright golden light, Isuzu watched in awe as it reached heights a hundred times taller than her. Like icebergs converging and diverting, the rocks spared a narrow path in front of Isuzu. “What?”

My face tilts back toward the sun, letting the fading rays shine on me while facing the horizon. The clouds are washed with pinks and reds that bleed into a stark golden yellow where the mountains in the distance crest against the backdrop of the sky. The sights out here are so startlingly beautiful, nothing like the ones I'm used to back home. Sure the sunsets back in Redwood are amazing to look at, but typically the trees obscure any kind of full sunset from view. Here though, there is nothing to block the full expanse of the sky. "You mean hot as fuck?" Rose groans. "I swear, if I wasn't afraid of us getting caught again, I'd bring us back to the creek to swim."

It wasn’t very large but it was perfect, dropping clean and white off a shelf of dark rock into a pool below that caught the last of the sunset. The whole place glowed with the magic that nature had. Orange and gold on the water, the rocks deep purple where the light didn’t reach, the trees around the edge so still they looked painted. “Lucas,” I said pointing at the perfect scene befire me. “I know.” “This is…” “I know.”

A waterfall spilled over the side of a rocky ledge, green fir trees dotting its side along with flowers, turning the cream-colored wall into an assortment of greens, yellows, purples, and reds. The pool beneath was crystal clear with green and brown river rocks, the water dancing with the moving surface. Fish darted about underneath, their scales iridescent and giving off rainbow sheens when the afternoon light hit them at the correct angle. Large, flat rocks, perfect for sunbathing, laid on the edge of the water. Freshwater plants pushed against them, adding greenery between the slabs. A hawk watched its domain high above in a perch atop a giant pine tree. It screamed when it saw us and too

The slow lift of his brow and the faint curve of his mouth told her he was referring to something else entirely. Heat crept up her neck. He was teasing her. She smiled, composed. “That’s easy,” she replied smoothly. “The caves along the shoreline.” She described the narrow stone path that led down, the echo of the tide against the rock walls, the way the sunlight filtered through the openings above and turned the water almost gold. She mentioned how he had guided her carefully across the slick rocks when the tide shifted. Damien drew in a quiet breath beside her. The guests at the table leaned in.

Isabella’s POV….. We walked to the beach and the place was beautiful, Sunlight spilled across the sand like molten gold, the ocean stretching endlessly in front of us, it was huge and so clear. Soft music thumped from portable speakers planted in the sand, a mix of pop and reggaeton that blended with laughter, crashing waves, and the low hum of conversation. “Here” Aurora said handing me a sunscreen “What will I do without you” I told her kissing her cheeks

she said in tears. “Since you can’t remember we’d have to force you to, but don’t worry it’s not a harmful procedure just a little something” Cara said taking out a golden pendulum “I want you to keep your eyes fixed on this” Rosa’s eyes focused on it the pendulum as it moved from left to right till she was finally hypnotized her head dropped forward and hang. The chain was adjustable, allowing Aqua to wear the pendant at just the right length so that it rested over her heart. As she wore it, Aqua noticed the stone's clarity, reflecting her calm and balanced state of mind. Whenever she felt at peace, the pendant remained clear and pristine. However, when her emotions stirred, the pendant would change. A slight hue of blue appeared when she felt sadness, while a warm golden tone emerged during moments of happiness. If anger or fear took hold of her, the gemstone would darken, turning a deep, unsettling black.

The sun is rising, rays going to work on the thickly frosted windows, the remnants dripping down the window in the form of liquid lit by the encroaching daylight. Gentle oranges and subtle pinks dance across Jasper's face. His eyelashes brushing against his cheeks, his lips partly open. The bed sheet twists around his limbs, a contrast to his sun kissed skin. An Alpha, in a vulnerable position. I slip out of bed, wishing there was a better heating system in here. Muttering to myself, I find fresh clothes in my

And I know it's just not good. Lying on the chilly sandy beach, I gazed upward at the brilliant sky now adorned with flashes of pink and orange hues. The waves roared incessantly, creating a frothy white foam as they collided with the rocks along the beach. The assortment of pebbles on the sandy shore shimmered, catching the rays of the tranquil sunset. Seagulls gracefully soared through the air, effortlessly riding the wind. The beauty of the sunset was nothing short of breathtaking—truly amazing and enthralling.
